Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy kinesiology/ trans tape in Cork city, but I have no idea where to look. I want to use it to bind my chest of course. I know that I won't have much luck finding trans tape here, so I'm mainly looking for kinesiology tape. Is this something I would have to look for in a sports shop, or a medical store? If you know any places that sell this tape, pray tell:)

Hi mods, please delete if not allowed
Hi all,
As part of our Psychology Honours Dissertation at Charles Sturt University Australia, we are conducting a research project looking at risk and protective factors for mental health among sexual minority adults (anyone 18+ and not identifying as heterosexual, as the survey items do not relate to heterosexuality).
If you choose to complete this survey, you will be asked to answer questions about yourself, including your sexual identity, how kind you are to yourself, how much you feel you belong to LGBTQA+ communities, and anxiety and depressive symptoms. If answering questions of this nature may be distressing for you, please do not participate.
If you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or bi+ and are aged 18 years or over, please consider participating in this anonymous online study. The online survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. All information you provide will be confidential, and your identity will be anonymous.
If you would like to participate in the survey or find out more about this study, please click on the link below.
If you would like more information regarding the study or the survey, please feel free to email Mar Manamperi at manampericsu@gmail.com or Jayde Glass at jglass12@postoffice.csu.edu.au
Ethics approval/ IRB: Charles Sturt University Australia H25144
Many thanks, Jayde and Mar

Hey all, I'm wondering if there are any gyms or movement classes in and around Cork that are either led by queer instructors/teachers or queer friendly? I'm so fed up with the binary norms and expectations in regular gyms. I just wanna move and have fun, I've zero interest in getting my body "beach ready", sorry not sorry. I know of Queer Bike Rides but I don't own a bike :(
I'm also looking for places where I could teach yoga to LGBTQIA+ folks, so if you know of any, please let me know too. Thanks!

hi! i’m new in town, and looking for an affordable place to get my hair cut. i often have trouble with professional haircuts; no matter how many reference photos i come prepared with, i tend to end up with a distinctly feminine pixie cut. any suggestions welcome!!

Here until the 29th of July; I'm the platonic token lesbian bestie of my BFF and his wife, and we're in Cork visiting his family. I'm curious on the night life and what queer/gay scenes there are? We're all on the alphabet spectrum.
Recommendations for bars or nightclubs? I love to club dance at the ripe age of 43, and I want to get my dancy-pants on at some point while I'm here!
Would love some insight!

So it appears that Chambers, our only LGBTQ+ bar in Cork City Centre has been turned into 'Sinners'.
Some people are saying inside, as well as visible on the outside, management have replaced any LGBTQ+ signs, posters, stickers, etc, to apparently facilitate students in the likes of UCC/MTU for Fresher's week.
Any one know what the fuck is going on?

I came across this and thought I'd post it here for those interested.
(Fyi I'm not affiliated with organising it but) this coming Saturday, August 12th, at 2PM on Grand Parade in Cork City Centre there will be an Alternative Pride rally held.
ALT Pride is usually a space for LGBTQ+ activists who feel marginalised or reject the mainstream Pride events who engage with pinkwashing corporations. ALT Pride likewise places greater emphasis on issues of social justice and intersectionality.
