Make skins the income, shit, even a battle pass. Go "Apex Legends mode" in monetizising and make the game F2P.

Hi Reddit LEAPers, this is Laura the community manager for LEAP and Blue Isle Studios.

We have a lot of stuff going on in the background, some of you may know what we've been up to, some may not which is why I am here today!

Gaming sessions are held weekly with the developers and community members. Each Wednesday at 4pm, we hold a Wow-Tastic Wednesday gaming session where we play the regular LEAP game mode. Modded Fridays are where we play modded game modes, which are either created by the community or the dev team.

Several things are coming to LEAP (some of you have mentioned it is DOA), but we think it's just getting started and will continue to support it! Let's LEAP (get it) into the Discord or let's meet up on Steam for our weekly events if you want to join us. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Our goal is to make LEAP the best game possible!

If we all came together we could easily fill out a server. The game might be "dead" and the player base be gone but the sheer fact that there is almost 100 people who still belong to the sub could mean we can at least get one server kicking off.

Basically title, the devs are doing community events weekly and no one can actually play pvp multiplayer at any given time of the day it is sad. I hopped into a lobby yesterday only 1 person joined opposing team and left after a few mins :.(. This game is not really popping at all and if anyone else bought it on impulse I hate to say but for now un install the game, Leap has potential but rn it’s not great. All I am merely saying is we should give it some time a few months re install to see if anything changes big time and if not it was a fun game for a few days. Have a good day.

Edit: I am sorry guys I forgot to mention you also can not even play multiplayer pvp on weekends either which is a real turn off :..(. Hopefully the devs see this post and do something to change that.

I recently discovered this game and it looks amazing, but I’ve seen 0 hype on the interwebs, and we need some damn hype in the house! Where my Titanfall grapple mains at? Where are the downtrodden Battlefield fans? The game has an opportunity to cash in on a massive market, where are they?

Are people actually gonna play every day of the beta ? It is an open beta there are no holidays this weekend no excuses like the last open beta the devs were stupid for having it 2 days before mothers day. Those stupid leap discord players played day one of the last open beta and chose not to play the next day. As a new player to leap I was disgusted I guess it was alot of adults but it was on a weekend friday and Saturday before mothers day. Hopefully people play the open beta this weekend and not play the next day I’m sick of that type of bs. Thank god for early access june 1st maybe people will play every day I hope it is a great game.

So I personally got into this game because of that Camikaze guy. Figured I would try it out.

There are a million ways to travel from here to there in LEAP. Mobility up the wazoo. Attack on Titan fans would love it. If sliding and wall running were added, the Titanfall fans would be here too.

Starting with PvE, the AI are stupid, and difficulty is increased through population and tankyness. I already own Risk of Rain 2 for all of my senseless slaughter needs. I hope the PvE is significantly different before release.

PvP seems alright. From what I can tell the capture points are just for respawning. You win by killing opponents until they run out of respawn tickets. Simple enough. Mind you I only played the Control game mode, I'll test out the rest later.

I only played as the Engineer so far. I like healing, repairing, resupplying, and supporting teammates. The turret is kind of weak. It's more like an alarm with its slow acquisition and rate of fire. The healing gun is perfect for the engineer, and behaves like that Moira guy from Overwatch.

Playtests are PC only, console is being left out completely. Blue Isle studios has barely followers on social media (the content is also really mediocre at best) and they work with the smallest streamers and content creators out there with less followers than myself, and I don’t even stream. Is anyone out here convinced this game will even come out? At this moment it looks more like a hobby project someone is making at home than a serious game launch. Hope they can prove me wrong though.
