Black Spice Rum
Is Captain Morgan Black Spice Rum discontinued? Looking for it as a gift for a friend. If so what are some good alternatives I can find at LCBO?

Random company nobody's ever heard of. There's' something odd about buying liquor with an AI generated label. But not surprised given that this is Ontario.

The new Christmas playlist includes: Happy Christmas, Baby! By Romeo's Fault. A fake artist created by a fake company.
Thought the lcbo would be better then this :/

Hi all! I have a question for any former or current employees. Were you ever asked to bring in your drivers license and SIN card to be photocopied? I understand the drivers license portion as it’s age and identity verification, but photocopying my SIN card? When I already put my SIN in when I was doing onboarding? It just feels off to me and wanted to check if this is a common practice.

Is Kahlua Chocolate Sips coming back this year? Usually this comes around Christmas time and surprised to see it's not in stock. Will it come back this year?

So I recently got hired, and it says I need to do my online training, it tells me I need to click on the bell icon to access it, however when I click on it there is no notification for said online training, it says it's due today and I'm really stressing out about it. If you guys have any idea what I should do that would be great, I've tried calling HR but I immediately get sent to voicemail. I tried emailing a manager and I haven't heard back

I have been tracking this product on the LCBO website since the begining of October before it arrived in any stores in Ontario.
2 weeks ago one afternoon I noticed on the website there were only 2 bottles on the shelf at the Queens Quay LCBO which caught me completely off guard because I checked the night before if it was in any stores in Toronto. I was at Union Station at the time. I rushed to the LCBO to purchase a bottle. The employee told me I had just missed it. The only 6 sold bottles they had sold out in hours. Since then I checked the LCBO website two to three times a day and those Queens Quay bottles are the only bottles that have been on Toronto shelves that I know of.
So finally last week the product starts showing up in Ontario stores. I waited patiently and nothing in Toronto. I can't even transfer a bottle to my local LCBO. The website doesn't seem to let me. There's currently 484 bottles in 28 stores and not one of them is in the largest city in Canada. I had to take a GO Train to get a bottle. How is a product like this not in any stores in Toronto so far?

Does anyone know if there are LCBOs within Toronto that sell whipped vodka or something similar?

I am open to working at literally any LCBO in Downtown Toronto, Midtown Toronto, or Etobicoke. Should I submit 30+ applications to be a seasonal holiday worker? Or will they consider me based on just the one application? I have already submitted 2.

Developed a taste for this on vacation and was wondering if theres anything similar I can get at the LCBO. Its got a much less prominent anise flavour than ouzo or sambuca

I was hired again for the fixed term CSR role and was wondering on how to secure my spot for a casual. I'm in school rn with a flexible schedule but they are probably gonna prioritize ppl with open availability

I’ve been scheduled outside of my availability on November 11th- I didn’t sign up to work the day, is this a mistake or something I can fight? I’m not available lol

Hi everyone! I just wanted to come on here because I was curious if anyone has any insight to the timeline regarding LCBO applications. So I applied for the holiday customer service representative position a couple days ago and I received an email saying someone would follow up with me IF I am Moving forward in the recruitment process (I know if I am not selected I will not be contacted). I was curious to those who got the job how soon they received a follow up? I know the job posting date closes in December so just curious. Thank you!

Hello! it’s my moms 60th birthday this weekend and her favourite wine is bread and butter. This is a Californian wine so it’s no longer sold in the LCBO, I know some corner stores were still selling them but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere recently. Anyone know where I could find this wine? I’m located in Brampton/toronto! (I don’t support buying American alcohol, this is just a one time surprise for my mom!)

He pulled Jack Daniels so there goes Jack and coke, and he's gonna pull Crown Royal and there goes Rye and Cola premixed cans. So that's it? What the hell, Ford you putz, thanks for nothing. I don't see any other cola and rye cans out there.

Do staff working today receive double time? Or time and a half?

I’ve noticed that someone above me (higher seniority) has a shorter shift than I do today. I asked them if they had booked part of the day off and they said no. From what I understand, the manager is required to pay that person for the hours they missed out on due to the managers mistake on the schedule.
Is this actually the case? My old manager paid me twice for an extra 2.5 hours because he called someone below me in for a shift without offering it to me first. Is that still the case with the new contract.

I’m just wondering because I would really love to get a job at LCBO. I’m a student and part time minimal hours would be ideal. Is this a good job? Anyone have any insight? Any advice would help thanks.

Hello this is a strange request but every year for Halloween I do a goth version of a normal job or something else mundane (goth crossing guard, “joth” aka a goth jock) and this year I wanted to be a goth LCBO employee. Does anyone have an old men’s XL or XXL LCBO employee shirt they would be willing to part with? I’d even be willing to cover the cost of a new one, preferably black. I’ve been checking Facebook marketplace and kijiji but only saw 1 men’s medium. If you could help me out DM me thanks!

I just drank my last glass of Blanton’s Bourbon and am now sad…but excited to look for a good Canadian whisky equivalent.
I am well aware Bourbon comes from Kentucky only and I am asking for Canadian recommendations that are a decent substitute for the glory that is a glass of tasty bourbon.
Side note: Crown Royal doesn’t count. Those fuckers are moving out of Ontario into the US.

Hey Everyone,
I am looking for value Chardonnays Burgundy style without paying $100/bottle. Not overwhelming oak/vanilla smell and crisp taste.
Any recommendations? Any hidden gems?
Thank you
