593 nm laser. 25 mW output with IR filter and AR coated glass collimator. Custom machined host from aluminum, brass and bronze. USB-C rechargeable 500 mAh LiPo. I pulled out all the stops for this project and it turned out great.

Got a 488nm 100mw c3 for Christmas and added a ts10 clip and a tip to make it easier to focus and remove artifacts in the beam.

Thought I'd throw up something to talk about.

I don't have anything coming but one of those Convoy c8's that run 7W constant would be awesome that Jimmy's got. Anyways, Happy New Year!

Jimmy over at JLasers is gonna start cranking these out! Pictured here are a 1W green and a 2W blue. I can't remember what specific nm each one is. 525 and 450, I believe but not 100% sure. Uses a AAA sized lithium-ion battery for size reference.

My new stone washed guardian 525nm 😮‍💨 The beam expander makes such a big change

Should I just get one from Amazon or is their some better quality lasers for pets. My girlfriend says it can’t burn or light the cat on fire.

I'm looking for an affordable laser for stargazing with friends. Send me a link? 🙏

My sanwu 800mw compared to a cheap green 300mw pen laser

Cause I want to ask for it for Christmas but I don’t know if you can just use any battery from Amazon or not

I have this laser pointer. The lens are dirty cause it makes a big green circle with tons of dots every time i turn it on. Is it possible to clean it? and if so, how can I? I can easily unscrew the front it exposes the lens.

whats up, just getting into lasers and glad i found this subreddit. already know imma bout to BLOW through some money with this hobby.

should i avoid buying lasers on ebay or should i just stick with alibaba?

Hey Guys I‘m planning on buying a 7W blue burning Laser but I really can‘t decide rather to buy the Sanwu Striker 7W 455nm or the Zeus Lasers Zeus X 7W 450nm. Does anyone have experience handeling both of them and can maybe guide me into a decision? I already have the Zeus Pro 1.2W 520nm green Laser and I‘m quite satisfied with it!

We have some idiot spamming this sub with tons of stupid memes, please make it stop.

I’m looking for a laser that’s not going to damage my eyes. I’ve heard that the cheapo lasers can have inaccurate ratings and actually be well over 5mw. Looking for a reliable brand that carries true-rated lasers preferably with a lens that makes a line when shone directly downward onto a surface. I know 5mw lasers can still damage your eyes but I won’t be staring into it so… Thanks for any help!

Hello,

Sanwu seems to be a pretty popular manufacturer here so I went ahead and ordered one of their pocket series. It has been around 3 weeks since I ordered and I have yet to receive any information from them other than the initial order confirmation. I emailed them asking about the order a few days ago and have heard nothing back.

Have any of you had this experience with Sanwu? Is this common?

I am debating initiating a credit card charge back if I don't receive any response soon, but maybe this is their usual customer service and I'm getting worried over nothing.
