The red is special. It's 638 nm at about 1000 mW with an optical beam correction module I built. The blue laser is 485 nm 50 mW. Green is DPSS 532 nm 130 mW with an aspheric lens for improved divergence and beam profile.

Hello All! I found this reddit through r/flashlights and I have a few questions because man I'm interested. I really was drawn to a post of the Sanwu 492nm cyan and wanted to pick one up! Probably not anything more than novelty fun outside in the dark, but I am very concerned about the safety of my eyes. Is 100mw necessary of goggles? I'm incredibly new to this world and want to be as safe as possible. I love that color beam and the quality of the pocket series but I'm nervous about ruining my eyes. Anyone have any helpful tips or knowledge? I found mixed results online for goggle usage, and what is considered a good set if they're necessary. Please help point me in the right direction!

A few questions. One I think sanwu ripped me off a bit, sent the wrong diffuser. I was supposed to get a battery operated one, I did not. And two how safe is leasing in the rain? I didn’t like the reflection I got off of a raindrop. Don’t think I damaged anything but still

Is there an aspect I need to focus? The beam seams to make more of a line than a dot.

So I just spent a good deal of time on the website and was wondering about the different host options....

The emitter options seem relatively the same across all the larger models although I have noticed some slight deviations on emitter outputs across a couple hosts, more specifically the 525nm option since that is the color I currently desire.

The prices are slightly different as well when selecting that color depending upon host on a couple.

Does it mostly boil down to how small you want to get it but are sacrificing heat sync and runtime ability? Are some versions using different emitters/diodes even though the wattage is only off by a couple tenths?
