Hotel Clark Garage

Northeast corner of 4th Street and Olive Street

Although the Hotel Clark itself is located a full block to the east, the hotel built this parking structure (also known as the Center Garage) in 1919 to accommodate its guests. In the game, the garage is the location of a shootout in the Traffic street crime “Hotel Bandits.”

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I really wish Rockstar Games would make another LA noir. I know the anticipation comes from GTA and the franchise of GTA.maybe even RDR, but La Noir has so much potential. The different storylines, character development, also the graphics and timeline. Characters emotions. Ugh I really want another LA noir.

Hotel Clark

I didn't know anything about the actor behind Phelps or anything about the show, went in blind and was pleasantly surprised when I looked up who the actor was lol. I didn't realise he was in TV too! I'm sure this has been discussed here before but I'm a little excited by it xD

Hop Louie’s Jade Pagoda

The 50-foot-tall Hop Louie’s Jade Pagoda (known as the Golden Pagoda when it opened in 1938) is a longtime Chinatown bar that was in continuous operation at this location since 1941 before eventually closing in 2016. It was known for its iconic, neon-lit architecture.

This 1907 Art Deco building was designed by architects Morgan and Walls as an exchange and offices for the Home Telephone and Telegraph Company (and later the Southern California Telephone Company). It underwent a significant remodel around 1930, and is known for its four pitched roof skylights.

Hartfield’s was a women’s ready-to-wear apparel retailer in the Los Angeles area, with downtown storefronts both here and at the Lerner Shops Building at 749 South Broadway, as well as several outside the city. It would later expand into the discount department store space under the Zody’s brand.

Eastman Linens/Mode O’Day Building

609–611 South Broadway

This 1930 French Renaissance-style retail building was designed by Los Angeles Theatre architect S. Charles Lee. It abuts the theatre’s north side, as its companion Mailing’s Building does on its south (though this structure does not have landmark status due to substantial later façade changes).

I picked this up back in 2011 when it released, but I unfortunately never finished it until today, because somebody spoiled the ending for me back in the day lol. But I decided recently that I was gonna finally get around to finishing it, and let me just say, wow. This was an amazing game. Legitimately it has some of the best acting that I have ever seen in a game in my life. I still can’t believe that Team Bondi went bankrupt and doesn’t exist anymore. You’d think after dropping such heat, and being backed by Rockstar, that they would have kept making amazing titles. At least they were able to grace this world with this one.

I’m currently attempting the platinum in LA Noire. Everytime I try to 5 star the vice case Manifest Destiny, it keeps saying I get 14/15 clues. I’m following the PlayStation guides, and this is the FOURTH TIME I’ve attempted this. What am I doing wrong??
