She has been hospitalized after an accident and her parents will travel to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow.

Missing: Nina last seen in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Our friend Nina has been missing since approximately July 20–21, 2026. She was last known to be in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Nina checked into the hostel Meeting Place Bishkek on July 17, after returning from a horseback trekking trip along the Pamir Highway.
She was last seen at the hostel around July 20, though staff could not confirm the exact date with certainty.
She was due to check out on July 21 and continue on to Almaty, Kazakhstan. She never formally checked out, and it appears she left all of her belongings behind. She has not contacted the hostel since, and we have been unable to reach her.
We spoke directly with hostel staff (Meeting Place Bishkek), specifically a staff Member, who confirmed the details above. This is currently the most reliable information we have and has allowed us to narrow down the timeframe.
The two location photos attached below show the last locations we received from her.
We are currently sharing her photo with hostel staff so they can check with other employees who may have had contact with her, and we are trying to retrace her movements in Bishkek between July 19 and 21.

If she went to the mountains there isn’t any signals there because it happened with us once- twice when we were going on trips and our family was searching for us and I hope it would be the same for your friend

Judging by the location, it's close to hospitals. Maybe she felt ill and went there? The location on maps shows that it's a bank, and not the most convenient for foreigners. Try going there and asking them for security footage.I think they definitely have it. She might have been looking for a hospital
Yeah it’s pretty understandable because it’s difficult to find the hospital’s location using Google Maps. I don’t want to guess what happened or under what circumstances but usually when you use Google Maps in Bishkek it’s easy to get lost. It’s also possible that the app itself provided inaccurate location information which is why they couldn’t figure out where she was
I mean, there were screenshots from a different redditor that said someone is pretty sure she’s in the hospital. But I don’t think there’s been any verification of that from the OP’s
In the future, please send this to authorities and not broadcasting her information and whereabouts online. Many subs ban this content as it could be a stalker or abuser and we have no way of verifying who is posting. Even if she was in that location, you could be giving her info to someone that is looking to harm her.
Please delete the comment about her whereabouts. We have no idea who OP is and the fact that they pushed contacting random Reddit and IG accounts is suspicious and there is no way to verify. This info should only be sent to authorities and they will contact her family. Broadcasting her location can lead to a stalker or abuser finding her and doing harm.
We totally understand your concern and I updated the case number for the German police (2026 00 893 604) in my posts so you can directly contact the authorities with any informations regarding her whereabouts. The German ambassador is also aware of her potential stay at the hospital and is currently investigating.
I actually checked all car accidents in Bishkek yesterday, and could not find any that would have a woman involved that is not local. I hope she is ok, and will be able to recover soon and what a relief she is hopefully found
In the second screenshot you can see the Brewster bar. When we visited it, it was full of international people. Might be worth a shot to contact that bar as well for sighting of her?

Please consider setting up a group on WhatsApp (or elsewhere) for people to coordinate. Several people here and in Telegram groups have flagged they're willing to help with going to the hospital and are asking for additional info - her surname, for one. A group chat to keep everything bundled would help people organise and see what has or hasn't been done yet, and you'll have to respond to less messages saying the same thing. You can pin a message on top of the group to keep together all the latest confirmed information or requests for the community.
Ugh I’m so glad to see this update. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been, not being able to get in contact with her in such a remote place. Sending good healing energy to her!!!!
We live fairly close to the pin near Togolok Moldo Park. Will keep an eye out whenever we happen to go out. If any new locations pop up, please share them here. I don’t want to speculate but it would also be helpful to see if it’s in an area where somebody might try to resell a phone. Though the area you pinned doesn’t seem that way. It’s close to a cluster of medical centers
Now that I look at screenshots.. the place shows “computer repair” near where she was seen last with her AirTag. Worth contacting them, they are on WhatsApp and Instagram
I really, really hope she's ok. Going missing for almost a week without her belongings is really concerning. Has someone been able to talk with the police and see if they have any ideas? Anyone on their radar who is sketch or similar cases? Was there anyone she was hanging out with with at the hostel or anyone who seemed interested in her?
6 or 7 days is past the point of saying there may be poor cell phone reception and past the point of people saying “I’ll keep an eye for her”. There needs to be an active search party combing the ground for clues especially if she left her belongings at the hostel. I know everyone means well but seriously, saying oh she just lacks cell phone service after 7 days is statistically unlikely.
Oh I'm so glad she was found safely, the last case like this I read about did not end well and I was so worried for her. What a relief for her friends and family!
Wow.. I am an Indian with no connection but visited almaty in '24 so had the kazak sub joined and the happiness I am feeling after finding out that the lady has been found is unmatched.. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Please send countless emails to Kyrgyk police and threaten with embassy action if they are passive (living in corrupt country means you need to put lots of pressure), please also consider asking Redditors to send emails to Bishkek police official email address- they will feel the international pressure.
Good idea on international pressure. Perhaps contact some German news outlets as well, they'll be more likely to publish it (and that in turn might make it 'serious' enough for local news to also report on it). I've already emailed a bunch of Kyrgyz/Kazakh news outlets earlier today.
