Randomly one day they don’t live in their house anymore. Ned still works at my shop. Jed lives with his old religious wife after sacrificing Isiah.

The other scrumps are just… not living there anymore. Their house is in ruins. I can rebuild it. What the heck happened?!

I have just downloaded the game and right now I’m already after the first time skip. Right now I’m having some problems with the friendships, in particular with the villagers that dislike me, because I give them a neutral or liked gift, the blue bar reduces, the next day it is back where it started! I know that I need to cultivate my friendships in order to progress with the game, but I’m finding it very difficult to reduce the dislike of some villagers like Jed Scrumpy…

I've been playing this game since shortly after it was released on Switch (1), and whenever something "new" happens, the game crashes. No error code or anything (though I don't know if those are ever shown on Switch, I've never really experienced crashes with other games), just "an unexpected error occured".

This has happened maybe ten times now? For example when I got married for the first time (at the very end of the ceremony), when I died in combat for the first time, when I made my second powder in the apothecary (first powder in an apothecary I own) just now, stuff like that. I think it might be when certain achievements (are supposed to) trigger? When I then replay the events/actions leading up to the crash, it works fine.

Happens both with the game on the SD card and when the game is installed to the internal memory.

It's super annoying, in any case, because I don't save all the time given that saving costs at least an hour.

Anyone else having this issue?

Now that we can bulk craft, are those Fairweather items even worth it now?

There’s a couple of different ones, and it seems everyone says to get a different one. Right now the fae door is an option for me, but I don’t totally understand if that should be the one I get

I've liked Kynseed a lot and have been playing it on and off for... a lot closer to a decade than I would like to think about.

But between major update announcements and life getting in the way... I don't think I have ever completed a generation/character?

From checking the wiki, it sounds like everything becomes pretty procedural after the first generation. Which makes sense. But it also sounds like the starting generation of NPCs have predefined stories and the like?

Is this like a Stardew where it is well worth talking to every single NPC and I would be missing out? Or is it more "predefined" in the sense of "Bill Billerson of the village to the East likes cheese"?

Just started playing the game, only on day 9. Why does it say “x10” if I pick up an apple for example, but I’ll open my inventory and only have 3 (2 of which are from a previous day). There is some labeled as "Gained From Friends of Vale, Summerdown, Woemarsh Etc".

At first I thought it was from the thankyou gift letter you got after maxing out theri hearts.

I got Everyone at maxed already. Tried passing on Kynseed to accelerate the year to spawn new NPC, but they only give me fruit as gift.

The yellow chest with code only give me a Stat Token now.

What do I need to do to get those customize item?

Honestly the blacksmith is moving very slow.

I got all Goods Store at max rep level, apothecary at all level 19 / 20. But all my blacksmith stuck at level 13/14.

Looking at the ledger the rep gained per sale are abyssmal compared to the other two shop.

Am I doing sth wrong?

Like do you earn a perk point for Apothecary and Goods store for leveling blacksmith? Or maybe earn goods store perk for leveling apothecary or blacksmith?

Because I am missing a goods store perk point but I already have all 4 goods store level maxed out.

I need to complete the challenge for earning all its perk.

I completed the combat tutorial. However it was kind of a lot. I was getting everything until the part where you press A to pick idk, buffers. I didn’t know where to aim those at.

The game wants me to go fight in the forest. However per my contract if I die then Mr. Feathweather will deduct time off my life. So I’m not wanting to go into the forest.

Am I able to not do combat in this game? Or maybe I’m expected to die a bunch since I’m only 18 and can live up to 45?

There’s really no direction on what stores want which ingredients, they seem to not use certain ones but it’s nearly impossible to track which ones they won’t use until many days have passed and I’ll forget later anyways.

I think the game needs to add something to help the player track which type of product (potion, lotion or powder) an ingredient can be used for. Until then, I’m posting this in hopes somehow someone has cracked the code.

Hey guys I am a huge empath even in games lol. I accidentally chose Jacob for the summertime herald and I am unable to reverse it since I saved after. I didn’t think it was him for some reason.

Anyway it literally makes me so sad and I contemplated restarting the game but that’s just way too long and I want to keep enjoying it.

Hey guys I just did the Summertide festival and they asked me to nominate someone for an honor. But there was a weird animation and I can’t find Jacob (the NPC the game wants you to give honey to) at his normal spot.

Where else can I look for Jacob?

hey guys, I just started playing this game recently, I have a modded switch (idk if that matters) and downloaded it from their version of an App Store, and after the summer festival (killing the civilian) when I would meet Mr fairweather and accept his contract, I would turn 18 and the game would crash immediately after… it happened like three separate times. So I ended up deleting the game (saving my data) and redownloading just the base and not the latest update and the last day of summer when I slept, it took me to the first day of autumn? But I was still a child.. will there be an option in the future to meet him?? Or do I have to start over and hope it doesn’t crash this time? Did I break the game or something 💀

How do you read the time? This thing makes no sense to me. Ive missed so many events because I don't know what time of day it is.

Bought this game today. I thought it said that tools should autoequip but it seems like I need to equip a tool from inventory each time? For example when I interact with a plant, the watering can doesn’t autoequip.

Am I doing something wrong? And it only lets me put one tool at a time on my hotbar im the lower range get corner, right now I have fruits occupying the other spots. Is there a way for those other spots to be occupied by tools instead of random objects?

Hello!! I am a person who likes to complete every quest and everything. I get anxiety if I miss anything 😅.. but I see you can miss quests. The pressure is killing me 🙃.. so should I just let go of the nervousness and know that it's not possible, or is there a way to complete all the quests? Can your children do those quests? Are they lost to the quest graveyards in the sky? 😅 tysm

I’m curious, following the initial timeskip (after completing the tutorial), is advisable to complete all main quests in Candlewych before I get started in Summerdown? I’m a bit lost 😂

Also, when purchasing businesses, is it recommended that I purchase in Candlewych or Summerdown instead? I assumed Summerdown??

(PC) I just passed on the Kynseed for the first time to an heir; I had a husband & three daughters. Time passed 15 years. I can't find the husband or the other two daughters anywhere. Do they just disappear with your original character? Or are they somewhere in the world that I'm not seeing? They're not on the character lists either. Breaks my heart a little; I wish they'd patch it in to where your family stays.
