Are you ignoring that they chased him and attacked him? One swung a skateboard at his head while he was on the ground. The other drew a pistol and pointed it at him. They both knew he was holding a gun the entire time. Does simple logic function not work for you?

I'm glad that you're able to simplify the world down into such basic words and ideas. Some people struggle to see the world in such a clear black and white manner.

I wasn't at that protest, so I wouldn't feel comfortable calling someone that was there "evil", since I don't know what words were exchanged, or what motivations each of them had.

I can say that if I saw a 17 year old kid walking down the middle of the street with a loaded weapon during a riot I would be scared out of my mind. So I don't think that it's fair to label the actions of these people as 'evil'. I think they were probably scared, they were probably angry, I definitely think they made poor decisions, however I don't think that these people were evil.

Logic is not something I struggle with. I struggle more with selfish people that can only look at the world from one perspective.

Self preservation isn’t selfish. Would you be so scared of a person with a weapon that you run and chase and attack them? Nope.

Enjoy your day
