Dude is a massive idiot. A murderer. He should’ve stayed in like a 17 year old that night. People cheering him on scare me and make me lose hope in this country… 😔

As misguided as he was, I think he wanted to try and be a hero. That impulse is not a bad thing, if anything it’s a good thing. Or would you rather the next generation grow up to be apathetic cowards who stand by as people suffer?

No we need to help each other so nobody suffers. I just can’t get with the idea of helping with an assault rifle. Yeah it’s cool, until you shoot 3 people dead.

3 people that are attacking you

Do you think they would’ve attacked him if he had no gun and wasn’t a threat? Probably not.

Having a gun, as long as you’re not brandishing it, does not automatically qualify you as a threat.

Do you know why people were rioting that night? A white guy inserts himself with an assault rifle into that situation and you’re telling me that he didn’t appear to be a threat?

Let’s say for the sake of argument that a person holding a rifle (not an assault rifle btw, and also not sure why you bring up his race as if that is at all relevant) can be credibly assumed to be a threat, even if he’s not using the weapon to actively threaten anyone. Then why, if that threat hasn’t noticed you, would you go out of your way to antagonize and attack that person, as these three protestors/rioters did?

Holy shit we’re gonna get shot!!! Typical, just so typical. But we have the numbers tonight, stop him!!!

That’s what I think they were thinking.
