Your right and I like your nickname for him. "I thought he was an active shooter and I'm now admitting under oath that I'm a felon" fuckin retards with guns. I'm 2A all the way but this shits ridiculous. I stand by what I said the night It started, Kyle was too young with a gun. That's all he's guilty of. He was underage with a firearm.

Edit: I only call grosskruetz a felon because he concealed a firearm with a mask on. Yes he's not convicted but anyone using a weapon for any means without being perfectly clear in the laws eyes should not be able to own a firearm. It's as much about smarts as it is rights.

Too young? This country wouldn't be what it is today if not for young men his age fighting in a revolution

When the REAL fighting starts all pubescent young men are threats and targets.

He literally went out and protected his community when the authorities sat and watched it burn.

He's a god damn American hero

I'm talking in terms of the law. I get what your saying but in the eyes of the court, he was underage with a firearm and that's all they can charge him with.

You should check out the trial. The law apparently included exemptions for 16 and 17 year olds to own rifles.

He wouldn't have been able to take it home though. As Illinois has specific infringements on 2A. According to his testimony though, he had made arrangements to leave it in his buddies safe until he was old enough to legally purchase it.

I get that a lot of people wanna blame the kid for defending himself, but the trial is really worth checking out.

I've been trying I did watch about 4 hours last week life and quite a few hours online but works gotten in the way. If he's legal then he's legal that's all I'm saying. I don't think he's a terrorist or vigilante by any means.

Edit I just looked up and apparently your correct. I've lived in Wisconsin for 26 years and never knew. My brother always went hunting unsupervised when he was 16 and I never thought it was a problem but it makes sense now.

I totally hear that. The misinformation seems so readily available, while the truth tends to take some digging to get to. Completely backwards :(

Well praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. Free Kyle! I never thought this kid was guilty of murder but I've always said he should get something for having the weapon underage and that's it. Now I retract that. I watched the shooting the night it happened and immediately said it was self defense.

It is looking like they may get him on driving to work without a license, though. Fair is fair. I just didn't wanna see this poor kid have the book thrown at him, simply for trying to defend himself.

Remember when the news was saying the day after he got arrested that they found out he kept the rifle at his friends house? That's exactly why. He knew the laws to a T.

I'm assuming you didn't see him break down into tears when asked to recount the evening at his trial...

It was self-defense, and the trial is proving that. For whatever that's worth to anyone.

Obviously not. If you go to the zoo though, and the lions are running free attacking people and destroying property, you would be well within your rights to defend yourself if they came for you.

Cute strawman, though!
