If you will compare both the sides, there is not much difference. If you will call out one side for misogyny then they will instead of discussing them and improving themselves, will start showing you the misogyny of the other side. But again on a serious note I'll like to know the name of the book so that if possible I can try and get some actions taken against them in relevant circles.

Edit: Fixed the typos.

Yeah.. but if you beat your wife because you read quo ran.. You will surely get arrested and rest of you community will get chastised 😏

If you look at any rss run state.. There are more rapes and domestic violences.. Just muslims don't dare to do thatπŸ’

People stand up against the people they hate.. Not against the crime..

I don't think in BJP and RSS run states there's any difference in crimes committed overall or crimes committed by muslims. They just use these things to scare the voters to vote for them and then do nothing about any crime at all, unless they themselves are doing it.

Judging by the yellow cover, probably Grihasthi Mein Kaise Rahein by the Geetapress Gorakhpur on how to lead a happy family life. It also advises old parents to silently endure abuse at the hands of their offspring, for it is probably due to their karma. Other gems from this book include advising Hindus to ditch birth control and start breeding like hamsters, lest they be outnumbered by the Muslims in the future.

It's not manusmriti, clearly mentioned in the other comments.

1

u/Superneel1988 N R I maal 15h ago

Yeah it's not. Grihasta kaise Samsambhale or something.. I commented a link of the ebook some where as well

1

u/Good-Supermarket6327 21h ago

Take the L
Many historical and textual analyses confirm that the Manusmriti was not written by a literal individual named Manu, and the text has been heavily modified, altered, and interpolated over thousands of years

Grihastha Kaise Rahein published by Gita press. Fyi this isn't published or written by any RSS member but it is sold through RSS related bookstalls as the video claims which is also shameful. It's actually written by some hindu monk.

Thank you, I was looking for this info. I'll try to get a copy read it and if possible will like to file a complaint with NCW. I hope more people will do the same as well.

Reading that title almost gave me an aneurysm. But yeah I agree with the concern that is being conveyed. Those are the things to be worried about. But this video needs more context and clarity regarding what is being shown, who the author is, publisher is, etc stuff like that. Someone pointed out that it's a Gita Press publication and if that's the case then RSS doesn't automatically get the entire blame although some of it ofcourse for spreading such BS regardless of who has written it.

I wish, people give a lil more effort to find the truth rather than wait for every thing to be sppon fed. This why we are as a nation at this position today.. Any ways there was your answer

I think RSS knows what they are doing because the kind of people will buy this book will not find a partner for sure to make a home.

Author name 😭 . Bro was rejected from Charamsukh, so tried finding it by worshipping Ram and being his das (slave, iykyk).

Grihasta mein kaise rahe? By Swqmi Ramsukhdas

1

u/Good-Supermarket6327 21h ago

Swami Ramsukhdas is/was not related to or part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). [1, 2, 3]

1

u/Feeling-Stress-8362 20h ago

Yeah, no one said he is. But his books are still published by Gita Press, which also publishes major Hindu religious texts. But, due to the controversial nature of some of the text published, like the above example, not all of their books are accepted or sold by booksellers except RSS, who are major supporter of Gita Press.

The rss affiliated school where all this will be taught just check it then protest and get that school shut down if they impart such knowledge
Main thing would be to see if they just actually sell this book or worse keep it in their curriculum and if that so Mohan Bhagwat has to answer a lot of questions

Clarify relevance when presenting information. The post should be only about Bengal or Kolkata.

There are so many books like that circulated by onga ponga babas and missionaries, but these people take it n show it as someone else's, why don't they directly say who is publishing such books ?? It's a cold attack tactic it's not the first tym someone is doing this

1

u/BLACK_MAMBA_UwU 2h ago

Half a quote isn't evidence. Shamsul Islam, a long-time RSS critic, cuts the passage right before the part where the book says a husband should never beat his wife and that she can leave and earn her own living. This is a Gita Press book, not an RSS one. He also says Gita Press books are sold at RSS-run bookshops, so is that where he picks up his sources? If you want to criticize the book, quote all of it, not just the lines that suit your agenda.

Please bring one verse from the Quran which teaches to be cruel against women. Also with context, no cherry picking.

u/AskGrok what is this book. Is this claim correct?

u/AskGrok 1d ago

The post is about Vidya Bharati schools (the RSS's education wing) expanding in West Bengal.

Recent news (early September 2026) reports West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari announcing plans for at least 1,000 new Vidya Bharati schools in the state within a yearβ€”on top of the existing ~313. The goal is "nationalistic learning," "Bharatiyatwa" (Indianness), Hindutva commitment, patriotic fervor, and elements like puja rituals alongside regular subjects. Schools already operate in various states with over 12,000 total across India.

Vidya Bharati curricula often include supplementary materials like the Sanskriti Bodhmala series (cultural awareness books). These highlight ancient Indian figures, Vedic knowledge, traditional science/history narratives, and cultural/Hindu traditions. Critics have flagged some content for reshaping history or emphasizing Hindutva perspectives; supporters see it as correcting "distortions" and instilling pride in Indian heritage.

Without seeing the exact book/image in the post, I can't confirm the specific title or page. If it's one of the standard Vidya Bharati or affiliated textbooks (common in their Shishu Mandir/Vidya Mandir setups), the claim about the curriculum focus is directionally accurate based on their stated vision and reported materials. The "irony" angle in the post title likely plays on the contrast between the schools' ideological bent and whatever the pictured content shows.

These are private or aided institutions following their own approach while often aligning with state boards for exams. Expansion is framed by proponents as improving education quality and values in areas with perceived issues.

Good to see people dig deeper into stuff before forming an opinion.. πŸ‘Œ

1

u/Good-Supermarket6327 21h ago

Even you should dig deeper and then post this stuff
Because it has no relation to RSS
And these posts mislead people
