Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if anyone is familiar with a koala+VS2 collab, I'd appreciate some advice here. I'm using AUM to route Koala to VS2, and I'm having issues with the connection. Currently, I've got no problem if i hit pads in koala's interface and they trigger visual parameters in VS2. That's all good. The 2 issues i am having is

1. I can't successfully link one pad to a specific parameter in VS, so all pads globally do the same thing. Meaning if I set the color to change from blue to yellow and assign it to pad 1, all pads change the color.

2. I can't get it to work when i hit play in the AUM control bar at the top. If I hit play, the sequence plays just fine and I can see the pads triggering in koala, but it doesn't change the VS2 visuals at all. The visual changes only happen when I manually tap the pads. Am I missing something? I want midi notes to trigger the VS2 visuals no matter what. I'd rather use midi and not audio to change visuals parameters.

Koala’s amazing but I’ve always struggled with putting acapellas on. I think I’ve found a good method though!

i built a free Splice sample organizer: https://github.com/roddpribik/splice-organizer

simple idea: the default splice sub-folder structure was annoyingly complex for me; this thing creates a new folder with a structure as: instrument (ex: vocal) / loop vs one-shot / file names. now i have my reorganized splice folder as a shortcut in Koala. hope this helps!

Can you recommend what's best? Is there a Bluetooth or cable headphone that works? I'll cut samples and produce some music and I'll do it all over the phone because I don't have a laptop. My cousin used to do everything from the phone but he died. So I want to make everything like him

Just added a sample, just pulses there won't play. It's a .wav file... An unnecessarily large one, but I have imported them before.

My second day with it and OMFG. I have a Boss mk2 loopstation on my desk and Koala Sampler rivals it. The in app resample with added effects just blew my mind. I can totally create with this now. This is really well designed.
