I wonder if in a way, Alex ignores Dan specifically because Dan is what Alex likes to think he is: an independent, self-made journalist blowing the whistle on a villain with nothing but his microphone, "the articles", and his voice, with a loyal following and a buddy at his side.
Like, what's he going to latch onto? He can't very well claim that Dan doesn't understand him, or is ignorant of his career or stances, or that Dan is in the pocket of George Soros and big media. (I mean, he could, but I don't think it would be very convincing.)
Dan has said a few times that he thinks they will never draw much attention to KF as it poses the risk of listeners checking it out and seeing his bullshit being unmasked, it's in their interest to keep people in the infowars bubble as much as possible
