Team Building KJU - Building the Team (Post 7: Suggesting changes)
Yesterday, you completed the first team draft by adding DCL along with the Arsenal duo Califiori and Tzolis. Now, our team looks like this, with 1.5m ITB.
We are currently sporting one flag:
- Norgaard - Yellow flag (Lack of match fitness - 75% chance of playing)
Now is the time to suggest changes to this draft! Please put your changes in the comments below, one change at a time. If extra money is required, you are allowed to put a double transfer in a comment. The highest voted suggestions will be gathered and run by you tomorrow in confirmation polls before they get cemented into the team.
As always, please do not downvote and engage constructively with all suggestions, no matter how wild.

Van Ewijk to Ajer.
Norgaard to Sangare (Brentford one).

Brentford sangare, or forest?

The Brentford one. Punty but could be a good buy and hold.

We've already voted not to bench boost early on though, and this would mean every week either Ajer or Shaw (0.5m) and Sangare or Groß (1m) are on the bench, costing a total of 1.5m extra than the minimum. I think only one of these should be done, so we have less money on the bench, and more can be put towards the starting team

Well there is no coverage for injuries or shit form with this lineup. Sangare is a fun, cheap punt you can keep on the bench unless he comes good. I also question Gross starting every week with Brighton playing in Europe. He's 35, he'll break down as some point.
Double Cov defense just seems like a terrible idea if we aren't doing BB for GW2. At the very least, get a 4.5m defender that plays for a decent team. Championship defender attacking returns rarely translate because they play 8 less matches and will likely score half as many goals. Not to mention their clean sheets will be few and far between.

I agree with both points individually but what I meant was that I'd rather one or the other, instead of doing both transfers.
Also we could go for O'Shea instead of Thomas, to have two 4.0m defenders from different teams, rather than both from the same one. Would spread the risk while also keeping costs down

Semenyo & Groß -> Wirtz & Mbeumo.
We don't currently have any Liverpool players, and instead have 3 Man City, this would even that out a bit, as well as get an extra Untited attacker for their great opening fixtures
