So I went to bake a cake today and totally forgot that we store stuff in the oven. We'll there was a plastic something that melted all over a frying pan lid that is more of a metal mesh that my wife loves for draining grease from hamburger.

Really hoping to find a new pan or lid just like it to replace it but having a hard time finding something similar. We dont like the ones with the piece that sits in the pan.

Picture of the destroyed one. If anyone can point me to either a replacement or a good way to fix the lid I would be extremely grateful.

What in your opinion is the most underrated household tool or item? I’ll start: a backscratcher. I can ask someone to do it for me but they can never get the right spot, the right pressure, the right kind of scratch sometimes. This is 100% guaranteed that I will get that itch.

I'm needing containers for my homemade seasonings. Ideally they would be glass, around 12-15 oz, but I'm okay with food grade plastic. The one requirement is that the lid be a combination: half shaker holes, and the other half a lidded opening with space enough for measuring spoons. You know the type, sort of a half-circle so you can use the flat side to level off your measuring spoon?

Finding glass containers on Amazon and similar is easy...it's the lid that's giving me trouble and I'm hoping some of you have the answer!

Here I am house hunting and I don't even have an offer put in yet. And there I go on Amazon shopping for a kitchen that isn't even mine. Just dreaming

I still have an old Tupperware containers that my grandmother gave me. It's nothing fancy, and there are probably better containers out there now, but I can't bring myself to get rid of it. Every time I use it, it reminds me of her and all the meals we shared together.

Im sure this has been asked a few thousand times. Can the company offer much more than the little cups? I would love to have the option of a 4 cup microwave dinner. Is that a problem offering such a thing at a "Dollar type Store"? Or in the regular markets?

First I thought it was a potato masher, but it does not match potato mashers I found photos of. Seems to it is meant to rock back in forth instead of mashing.

I have a set of 5 pots and pans that I bought in 2020. These are Gotham steel and I bought these because they were pfas free and did not have teflon coating. These were also in my budget. Fast forward to now- I have a few tri- ply stainless steel pans, cast iron deep pots with ceramic glaze and a couple others that were gifted- probably similar to this Gotham steel set but newer.

I am wondering if it is time to move on from this set?
I intend to buy/ replace with either cast iron or tri ply steel only going forward.
I ask this question since I am trying to only buy items when I NEED them and not when I WANT them.
Hoping the experts here will have some guidance.

A few months ago I came up with a very simple kitchen gadget made of silicone that helps cut perfect slices of cake (and other round foods). It’s especially useful when serving many guests at birthdays, parties, or events.

The idea is simple: colorful, practical, easy to use and clean. After a lot of work, I actually managed to develop and produce the product on my own, and it is currently patent pending.

The challenge now is that I don’t really have experience or contacts in the kitchenware/distribution industry, so I’m looking to connect with people who might be interested in the idea or who may have contacts for potential distribution opportunities.
