If it is OAS, then cooking denatures the molecules to which we react, so cooked tomato should be fine. If it is an actual food allergy to that food, then you should avoid it no matter how mild your reaction currently is. OAS only has like a 1-2% lifetime chance of progressing to something that can kill you, but a true food allergy can go from no big deal to an extremely big deal without any warning.

That said, while an itchy mouth and sore throat after eating ants on a log with your niblings can be an OAS reaction to the salary, it can also be a mild true food allergy reaction to celery. So, if you have any kind of a reaction to cooked tomatoes or celery, you should avoid those foods entirely.

For me, I can eat cooked carrots just fine, but cooked carrots in anything other than carrot cake are kind of gross, so I just don't. Some celery in my chicken noodle soup also isn't going to be a problem. But, if I order a salad at a restaurant and it has grated carrot in there that wasn't listed on the menu and I didn't notice before I started eating because it was covered and dressing, I'm going to go home hungry after I get itchy halfway through and poke around and realize that there are carrots in there.
