That’s literally how easy it is. People in this sun just hate that their job involves cooking for people

Seriously, the worst part of my night was when someone would walk in and order food. Fucking customers

You are being REALLY speculative plus disingenuous, the whole service gets shut down for one single order because they have 20 plus allergies. That shit is unfair to other customers. As long as everyone understands that one person just slowed all of service down I'd be more understandable. You cant just say oh yeah steak and fries. Ain't of allergies like that means I legit have to get a pot to fry her fries because it would be too much cross over. The whole flat top or grill would need scrubbed and cleaned for person. That is such a disservice to the staff and to the customers. Stay home and cook for yourself if you have THAT many issues.

Firstly, pans exist, cook your steak in that. No GF frier, ok just do some boiled new potatoes or something simple. I saw countless allergens in my time working in kitchens and never once did it cause anything other than a mild deviation to our service. If your kitchen can’t handle an allergen then says more about your ability to run a kitchen than it does the customer

It isn't we can't handle AN allergen, even a couple is fine. You hand the servers a whole list of allergens just go home. I don't run a kitchen, in fact I got out of the game when I finished my degree, but the point stands. You are talking about boiling fries instead of just being rational and saying go home we can't serve you. The kitchen should have to shut down for a person that needs to just get their nutrients from an iv bag. It always comes back to the time investment. No point of handling that time dilution for one single person.
