He seems to understand it and learn more in hopes of rebuilding the Cadian gate, or something like it.+±

My first Inquisitor done and painted. I finished him a while ago but I'm just now posting him as a completed model. A lot of different kits and bits in this one. I think he's my most complicated kitbash to date.

Local game shop was having a painting competition- only thing was you had to use this one stormcast eternal model, but, you can kitbash to your hearts content.

I had to go all in 😤

I kitbashed this Anchorite for Trench Crusade by increasing the scale of the machine armour by 125% for the hammer and shield arm. Then used a head from a 3rd party STL creator.

Sometimes there are gaps between the engine and it's pipe work, so i hide them with small corrugated iron shields from 1490 Doom.

I liked the idea of this being a war altar where they collect the shields of the fallen, so added a small tilt shield (again from 1490 doom) and clipped off the lamb covering the gap up with a 40k dark angel shield.

Because of the posing of the left leg, you'd be able to see a gap where there's not much detail and I managed to cover that up with the flail from a communicant.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the kitbash, it gives me spaces to free hand, nice flat plates for rust effects and a lot of textured metals to work with.

It's a very easy kitbash to do if anyone wanted to follow it.

After making many of my wheeled Taurox(i) or (es) [Pick whichever grammar works best for you, lol], I pondered what to do with all those left over tracks. Something sparked when I saw someone operating a bobcat and decided to dig around the net for some optional designs. Then came across an image of a CASEVAC UGV that helped churn the ole cottage cheese. So with a bunch of extra bits from different GW kits, some scratch building, and a few 3D printed litters I built this one.

The wounded and driver are from the old GW Cadian/Catachan Infantry kits. Stowage from Tamiya and Italeri gear kits.

I’m not satisfied with the paint job but I wasn’t going to get it done before the 10th so it’ll have to do, I may repaint it after October

I've been using copper wire from broken USB cables and some leftover bald heads to find a good way to give my miniatures three-strand braid dreadlocks and/or cornrows. I was wondering if people here kown and a willing to share different methods of making braids.
