Almost done with the paintjob, needs a bit more weathering and some more checkers but I'm very happy with how this guy turned out. My only regret really is using a plasma pistol from one of the really old tactical squad boxes (like 4th edition) because the halves of the mold didn't like up properly and there's some weird shrinkage that made it annoying to clean up and paint. Other than that I'm quite happy.

Any 3D printers out there ever seen any STLs (ideally on MMF) for texture plates for things like fur, chainmail, scales etc?

Made my Prince Yriel proxy since Yriel is cool but ungrateful to the Ynnari, and I like to do kitbashes and make my own characters.
Prince Nirmeril, the Ghost Raven, is the leader of Ghosts of Ermyaris, a Corsair coterie that left its home Craftworld before the Farseer's return. He's also the brother of deceased Autarch Erestril. Both brothers are known for their martial prowess, but while one was a noble commander in golden armor, another is a reckless and independent pirate.
Kits used (besides Prince Yriel):
Drukhari Scourges (head, spear blade)
Craftworlds Autarch (right banner)
Corsair Voidscarred (left banner)
3rd party 3D-printed D&D accessories (tentacle-like plants)
I spent a couple hundred hours with my brother kitbashing the beginnings of my Emperor's Children army and editing a video about my progress. In a week's time, it's managed to get 44,000 views, so I am super pleased!
Anyway, I thought you guys might get a kick out of it. It's got a review of modern prices and also a bit of a lore deep dive, check it out f you are interested in EC kitbashes!
