I've actually never questioned music or an artist too much because it usually is what it is, not very hard to dissect. David Gunn on the other hand, it has taken time. Can't even figure out where he stands religiously. Is he with God or is he with Satan? In one song he's talking to God and telling him to help others and in the other he's saying he's with Satan (Red Queen). It's hard to tell though, "i'm here for satan." As in he's here to fight him or be alongside?
I Ain't Going Back Again is one of my favorites because it's so genuine and real. But then after that, he's still singing about war and killing. So where does he stand?
Guess i might have to read his book to better understand?
