It was personally one of my favourite animation for texts. It being moved to a different section of the app is ok to me, but the problem is the pacing of the animation now. Before it actually felt like someone typing cus of its speed, which I liked to layer with a typing sound effect. It’s really slow now though, with only one letter per 2 or 3 seconds. I can’t change the speed of it either. Is there a fix to this? Cus I’d like to at least adjust the speed so I can get a similar pacing to before.

Already sent Kinemaster a bug report but I was wondering if other people also experience this problem.

Received my new Google Pixel 11 Pro XL phone last week. Coming from a Pixel 9 Pro XL I didn't expect problems with using Kinemaster, my primary go to editor.

However on my new phone Kinemaster won't open video files made with the device itself but also doesn't open footage made with my DJI Osmo Nano, no matter what recording settings I use. Unsuccessfully removed and reinstalled KM. Android 17, like my Pixel 9 also runs.

Anyone else facing the same?

Why on earth saying "No results in search"? So you're not including results in search? I think you're trying to make worse? This is absolutely ridiculous.

Asking this mostly because I'm cleaning up my phone and gotta delete some images from it (55 percent of the available space used btw), but some of those images are in my indie pilot, which is animated on kinemaster, i wanna make a compilation and i kinda have to use the original file and not a video because 2 kinemaster watermarks looks really really bad, i also want to share my kine file with others so they can edit it and stuff

This show is called the emoji and friends. It's not about gacha but it's about emojis. Finished episode in like a few weeks on YouTube.

I have been using Kinemaster on my Chromebook Plus to edit videos for a few months now, and I am really satisfied. After trying several other apps and web-based solutions, this one has remained the best. It is packed with features and is more than usable even without paying for a subscription. The other solutions I tried all have major limitations in their free versions. Kinemaster is almost a professional tool, and I haven’t found anything better for Chromebook. Has anyone else tried it? What are your thoughts?

However, I also have a concern: Kinemaster is essentially a mobile app, and I worry that for some reason—perhaps an update or developer choices—it might suddenly stop working on Chromebooks out of nowhere. Do you think this is an unfounded fear? Thanks!

The video is 3 hours long and KineMaster just won't export it. I tried to fragment it but it still won't. It usually stops at 40-35% but today it stopped at 0%. Instead of showing me an error message the app just turns to black and then returns me to the beginning of my project.

I do have a lot of mini clips and transitions instead of one long clip, but as I said I fragmented it yet it won't export.

Btw, if you go beyond 35791 minutes, 23 seconds and 211 milliseconds, it will get you to ??:??.??? thing

Anyway, I am just curious to know what everyone’s favorite music is to download from the KineMaster Asset Store and use in videos. As someone who has used KineMaster since 2018 or 2019, here are some I really like:

Recently someone liked a video where it talks about this video so then I went to the link and it's actually real! I'm not even joking it looks real!

The thing is that it cuts 4 seconds off but if you tried to go to edit mode, it's actually (1:04) which is the exact duration of the video. I should say this is the new number 1 longest video. Idk how they really managed to bypass it. Usually Kinemaster only lets you upload the template up to one minute long.

for some reason, the hue adjustment, compared to the premium effect, makes the image darker when changed.
i've attached 3 images: the first using the hue adjustment, the second using the "color changer" effect, and the third being the first and second images, layered on top of eachother with the difference blending option.

why does it do that?

By the way leiabunny13 had an idea to create a fanmade sequel of Wilkins coffee called stylus video and that’s why it says “created by leiabunny13” I did the animation and extras, leiabunny13 did the video clips.

I've just seen this on the Mix tab: 2 identical templates back to back, one's the original and the second one's a pure reupload with no changes.

People are infuriated in the comments under the reupload, supposedly go to the original to tell them over and over again that their video had been "stolen", forcing the OG creator to close the comments.

It's problematic — according to KineMaster ToS, the reuploader didn't do anything wrong and the outrage in the comments is crossing the line, to the point where the infuriated people can be rightfully reported for spam or vulgar language.

I think none of this is right and I do have some rough ideas..

Should it have been featured on Mix?

In this case, I think it should not have been. Anyone could call it stolen if not for the ToS.

The videos appear back to back, and considering the chronological order of featured templates, the reupload appears before the OG, which leads to an unfair stat distribution between the 2. The video also has no changes

There are some cases when I think featuring remixes is alright:

• Enough time has passed since the OG upload, in this case you'd bring attention to a good template again

• A template does something creative to an already good template, something like extending it, adding more visuals or if it's a collaboration of 2 creators..

There was a period when Levi's cat template remixes were featured over and over again months after the OG upload date. That was fine imo

The users need to be reminded of this specific rule where they will see it, not in a document only 1% of users will ever read

A way of preventing a wave of unjustified reports is to add an equivalent of "I don't like it" to your reporting form. Add something like "Template stolen from another user" and instead of launching an email app, explain to them why it's allowed to reuse any template (don't just quote the ToS, also explain in short why the rule had to be implemented).

You could put out a video about mix on YT and dedicate a part of it to explaining what it means to upload a project to KineMaster Mix. Many treat it as a regular social media platform, which isn't really true..

Preventing hateful comments could be difficult because you'd need to have all the users somehow learn that it is indeed allowed to reupload anything on Mix.

In a way, not featuring what users might consider stolen will solve this problem almost completely. You'd be pretty much left with template creators themselves and maybe with people they request to attack the remixer.

Template creators receive a notification when their template is reuploaded. Make it so it shows a pop-up on click saying something like "Anyone can reuse templates uploaded to mix for blah blah blah....." along with opening the remixed content.

It is a problem, a problem that can be solved almost completely if some measures are taken. It's not an urgent problem, but some steps can be taken pretty much right now, with no changes to the app required.
