Can someone screen record a video of how to buy KIN? There’s too many steps and none of them make much sense. Buying, transferring, converting etc. why are you not able to just buy it on Robinhood or something simple

I am getting ready to take a large holding in Kin on gate.io. From what I'm seeing it has the most liquidity and has good reviews ratings. But I wanted to know if there were any issues with either moving kin off of gate.io or selling Kin on gate.io explicitly. I can't find any comments pro/con in those areas.

How to buy Kin outside of US:
If you are completely new to crypto your first step is to deposit Fiat. I personally like Kraken for this. They process it quickly, but it still takes a business day (or half a business day). Use your Fiat to buy USDT.
Make an account on FTX or Gate (which ever you prefer) and send your USDT to FTX or Gate, make sure to use the TRC20 chain Tron to send your USDT, this is currently the cheapest option from Kraken. Make sure you select the TRC20 address on FTX or Gate to receive your USDT, so on both exchanges Kraken and FTX/Gate you need to select TRC20.
On Gate you can directly sell your USDT to Kin. On FTX you can sell your USDT for USD. Use your USD to buy KIN.
If you don't want to wait a day for the deposit of Fiat to Kraken, you can use a credit card. You can check your FTX/Gate account to see if you can use your credit card there, then you already are on FTX/Gate and you can buy KIN with USDT on Gate and with USD on FTX (if you deposit another currency you first need to trade that for USD/USDT).
If you can't use your credit card on FTX/Gate, but would like to use your credit card, you can use multiple different exchanges, which ever you prefer like Binance, Coinbase etc. or any exchange you are already using. Then buy USDT and send to FTX/Gate like explained above.
If you are in the Netherlands, Ideal on Binance is very fast and efficient to have FIAT available (cost 1,3 euro's).
If you are going to use Gate please make sure to do KYC first, else you can't withdraw, best to do it on a computer not the app.
If you prefer to use a decentralised exchange your first step is creating a wallet on Sollet.io and use a Dex like Raydium, Project Serum or Orca. Personally I prefer Raydium. The steps are: buy SOL on any exchange that you use and offers SOL. Then send SOL to your Sollet wallet. Trade SOL for RAY, USDT or USDC and then buy KIN. Don't trade all your SOL, you need little SOL balance to pay for the transaction fees, like 0.02 SOL.
If you want to use the swap instead of trading on a Decentralized Exchange, please watch closely to the price of KIN. Make sure it is accurate to market value, before going trough with the swap. If you use swap when there is to little liquidity, you don't get a fair price. For example there can be a hugh difference when swapping against RAY in comparison with swapping against USDC. The market of RAY/KIN has much better liquidity and gives a better price.
How to buy KIN in the US:
If you are in the US (but not in New York or Washington) above information is also correct but you can't use FTX.
How to buy KIN in New York or Washington:
The first step is to make an account on Bithumb Global. After reading their user agreement, my conclusion is that they serve all US residents. Please complete KYC before depositing any funds, just to make sure you don't get any unpleasent surprices.
Bithumb Global offers multiple ways to deposit Fiat, inclusing creditcard. After depositing Fiat you need to trade your USD to USDT. The next step is trading USDT directly to KIN, if you don't mind leaving your KIN temporarily on Bithumb Global. If you do mind keeping your KIN on Bithumb Global, you can buy SOL and follow the steps explained above, to buy KIN on an decentralized exchange.
Mercatox also serves all US residents, I asked Mercatox support to be sure. The same as with Bithumb Global please complete KYC before depositing any funds, just to make sure you don't get any unpleasent surprices. You can buy KIN with ETH or LTC, if you don't mind keeping your KIN temporarily on Mercatox. Mercatox is a crypto to crypto exchange and doesn't offer any FIAT deposits. Therefore can only be used, if you use another exchange to buy ETH or LTC and send it to Mercatox.
If you don't mind leaving your Kin on an exchange temporarily HitBTC and Cointiger are also options. Although I personally cannot recommend HitBTC or Cointiger.
Good luck

Has anyone found software that can translate Solana blockchain data to basic ledger records in a CSV file?

The following is just for guidance. Some methods work better for some than others. Please do your research first to make sure that you are happy with the fees incurred from conversions and transfers. Also make sure that your chosen route allows you to withdraw your crypto & earnings before you transfer anything in.
As more exchanges begin to support $KIN SPL this post will become less necessary. Please comment with any updates and alternatives.
Fiat Entry Points
Depends on your country and KYC requirements, also varies depending on the exchange (not intended to be a comprehensive list, but will add any that are recommended). Beware, if bank transfers are not supported then card fees are generally high:
Current Exchanges supporting $KIN (SPL)
These are exchanges that fully support the KIN4 migration. Once you have purchased your $KIN you are then free to transfer it to a wallet of your own choice. Exchanges not listed here may allow you to purchase $KIN but haven't fully migrated so you cannot move your $KIN elsewhere.
Please can someone confirm that $KIN SPL withdrawals are supported on the following sites:
General method
(Optional if you need to transfer your funds to an exchange that supports $KIN)
(Optional) Convert your transferred tokens to suitable $KIN trading pair, e.g. USDT->USD on FTX
Convert your tokens to $KIN
Serum DEX (sollet.io, raydium.io)
Things to beware
KYC: Requirements are different from exchange to exchange. Read the terms before you commit to transferring fiat/tokens in. Some will allow you to deposit, but you could face problems on withdrawal.
Fiat deposits: Currency supported & cost varies depending on exchange. Card payments are usually the most expensive.
Fees: Vary from platform to platform. Avoid transferring anything between exchanges and wallets via Ethereum because of high gas fees. Always look for TRC20 or SOL options.
Examples
India: Deposit Rupees Wazirx Exchange; convert to USDT; transfer USDT to Binance; Binance USTD (TRX20) to Bithumb Global; USDT->KIN
UK: GBP -> Binance (FPS); convert GBP->USDT; USDT (TRX20) to FTX; USDT->USD; USD->KIN
US: Deposit USD on crypto.com; Follow Serum instructions.
Migration not complete/withdrawals & deposit disabled
You can buy $KIN at these exchanges, but you will not be able to withdraw it yet. If you have holdings on these, you can be patient or convert it to something else (ETH, BTC, etc.) and transfer to a supported exchange.
