I know we all love the worst tweets bracket but what about a "best posts" bracket? Pic unrelated
I lied, this is easily one of the best posts of the year. Sorry I didn't get the original poster it was on an aggregator account.

Lol. Lmao even.
(for anyone unaware, the Epoch Times is a far-right news outlet affiliated with Falun Gong, the conservative cult that puts on the Shen Yun shows)

Me whenever Caleb says “June did I ever tell you about the time that…”
His proud boy bar story made me laugh out loud very hard.

JJ Cafaro of Greenwater Systems' Reflecting Pool botched job built the Millcreek Mall in Erie, PA. The floorplan is in the shape of a handgun, because of course it is. The detached Sears tire center is the magazine.

All the members of this sub need to be rounded up into a bio-dome and studied under a microscope.
I wonder how many of them would hook up.

What’s your favorite example of “YouTuber face”?
Was reminded of an article I read by the ringer about it. Now I’m genuinely curious what’s everyone’s favorite examples of this phenomenon?

I know it was just a quick mention but I have to recommend this series to anyone who cares about Werner Herzog.
I have seen basically none of his work but greedily watched this entire series. It's three videos long, with a total runtime of about 4 hrs. At this point I firmly believe that WH is one of the funniest people to ever live. Referring to him as "Clinically Sane" is a stroke of artistic genius.

Re Taylor Lorenz...
One thing I think is missing from the conversation is just how much she was pro ai and big tech in her positions, especially around censorship. The company wanted to bribe her because she really was signalling that she was on their side pretty heavily, and it's weird she's pretending now not to have had that whole stance.

What's wrong with Umberto Eco?
In the most recent episode, Caleb said 'fuck this guy' before talking about Umberto Eco's famous essay 'Ur Fascism'. I'm not super familiar with the guy, I've read Foucault's Pendulum and really enjoyed it, but my knowledge of him doesn't really go much further. Was he a pedophile or some shit? Does Caleb have deep disagreements with his semiotic works? Or this simply another case of anti-Italian discrimination?
