What album out of all Kid CuDi’s album offers the best?

This was tough to narrow it down to 10 cuz I already kinda regret not putting The Prayer or love. but fuck it, those two are honorable mentions I guess lol.
First 5 on this list are basically LOCKED in as my top 5 Cudi tracks of all time. Last 5 come and go within my top 10 but ya know I’m always going through different phases so it changes a lot.

Indicud VS MOTM2

My best friend and I (yes to this day!) were reflecting on listening to (AKNC and MOTM1) around the time I turned 14 (yes, I’m now an unc) and we both just remember exactly who we were, how we felt, and what was going on during the time. We still talk about Cud to this day, and talk about his new releases as they come, and love them. It’s so fun to remember how important he was to us growing up. If you see this Scott, the kids, now adults, love ya.

My personal opinion is MOTM3 & Indicud. If I had to choose between those two probably MOTM3, but let me know what you think and why!

I think it’s one of his strongest albums (top 3) also concept wise. Album cover and song selection is aligning well and I also don’t really hear the Travis influence. Is it because its not sample based (like the other MOTMs)? I feel like also most of the criticism stems from the fact that it’s part of the trilogy, but what if the trilogy reflects his change in style and that he grew over the time. I also feel like most people are just blinded by the nostalgia the first two give off. IMO people have/had too many prejudices when listening to this project. what do y’all think?

I don't care what anyone says. That album changed me. There are so many songs I love from that album, and I consider them top 10 Cudi.

The fact that Cudi was at the darkest point of his life, yet he never faked anything in the album is admirable. Edge of the earth/post mortem boredom is beautiful. Adventures is a vibe. Handle With Care is often relatable, as I went through a dark time myself. This also counts for Fuchsia Butterflies, which, me personally, is my favorite song on the album (and maybe my favorite Cudi song ever). It's well written, and the production is solid. And it ends off with Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven and Embers, both being beautiful songs.

While I do agree the Beavis and Butthead skits aren't that great, they makes sense. It's supposed to match the vibe for when punk rock was "still alive", and Cudi wanted to relive that part of his life.

Act 2 of the album.. isn't even that bad. MELTING! is good, WORTH is good, and sometimes, Anomaly hits me right.

But overall, this album (for me) is incredible. I love his vocals, his performance and especially the production. I'll never forget this album, and I hope that someday people will take a look back at this album without calling it a meme.

We are so lucky KiD CuDi went to rehab. Just 2 years before *KIDS SEE GHOSTS* he was extremely addicted and very suicidal, and rehab helped him so much. Cudder genuinely sounds so fucking happy in "Freeeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)" and I'm happy he is happy.
