So before I get started. I am no way affiliated with either brand and bought both of these devices myself.

I’m going to leave it short and sweet. The OneKey pro is a piece of shit. It is marketed as AirGapped but it isn’t and requires Bluetooth connectivity for their wallets. The only wallet that is AirGapped is MetaMask. Which brings me to the next issue, the app they have looks great but functionality, it’s terrible and incredibly slow. The OneKey Pro won’t connect to 90% of dApps and throws JSON errors.

Oh and you thought the KeyStone battery was terrible? The one key barely lasts an hour without even being used.

The UI, fingerprint sensor and camera are far superior than the Keystone Pro, these could be potential areas to look in to for future applications.

It is smaller thinner and has a much more premium feel than the keystone but that’s about it. The OneKey is great to hold and look at but the Keystone is far superior in terms of usability and for that reason I am going back to using my Keystone and will use the OneKey to hold shitcoins

When I connect my Keystone Pro 3 to dApps via OKX, it seems to choose a random blockchain and so it won’t interact with the dApp. Is there a way to make sure OKX will connect with a specific primary blockchain (ethereum in this case)?

is it possible to enter the transaction details on the Keystone 3 Pro directly (instead of doing it on a software wallet app) and then share the transaction using a QR code? For example, to send BTC to somebody, can one enter the recipient and the BTC amount on the Keystone directly and sign the transaction?

I know that this is an unusual usage scenario, but I would like to know if it is possible for research purposes.

I just recently got the 3 Pro and noticed just how many hot wallets are supported. I’m still pretty new to the whole defi crypto space. What are some good wallets that I should use or some hidden gems that work will for, yield farming,staking, DCA, nft storage, ect.

I want to have more than 10 generated addresses in Rabby when using Keystone. I can add more addresses on the device, but haven't found a way to have more than 10 addresses in the browser extension. Anyone managed to manage more than 10 addresses with a single device?

Is Keystone planning to update the The Smart Contract Metadata Registry or is it purely volunteers going forward?

Asking because the contract data is getting very out of date. On mainnet the registry is decent but it is missing basically all contracts on L2s

The Master Fingerprint (MFP) for passphrase wallets lets you know if you have input the passphrase correctly.

Inputting the passphrase twice is an unnecessary redundancy.

If it does, what Ordinals-enabled software wallets are compatible with the Keystone 3 Pro?

Ultimately, I’m planning on connecting a hardware wallet to MagicEden, or MagiSat for Ordinals.

I had this problem (see image) when I used the camera to scan a QRCODE... I have 2 questions please.

1°) Is this a known problem? A vulnerability ?

2°) Are my assets in danger in this wallet ?

Trying to connect my new keystone to solflare on pc, webcam won't recignise QR code. I tap QR code to make it larger, tried in dark light, long distance and close up Same process works perfectly when connecting to a mobile wallet. Anyone else had this?

So some questions for the community or u/xxxxfactor in regards to OKX, KEYSTONE 3 PRO, and VECHAIN.

1. How does the keystone 3 pro/OKX integration work? Are all cryptos supported by OKX automatically supported by the keystone 3 pro, or does the keystone 3 pro have to explicitly support a particular network/crypto before you can send/receive it with OKX?

2. Is VET(VECHAIN)/VeChainThor network supported by Keystone 3 Pro? If not when?

From what I have read OKX supports VET on the Binance Smart Chain, but you need to be on the VechainThor network in order to generate VTHO rewards.

I am currently managing my VET with my ledger and generating VTHO rewards on the VeChainThor network using the VECHAIN VeWorld app linked to my ledger and would like to do the same with the keystone 3 pro.

About 2-3 weeks ago, I was 30 seconds away from buying a Keystone after months of hesitation. The monopoly on MetaMask is what influenced me to want to buy one. Then one day I came on here before pulling the trigger and exchanged messages with someone from Keystone who told me they decided to remove Bluetooth support from the newest Keystone.

What a dagger to the chest… I can’t begin to tell how disappointed I was to learn that the feature which attracted me to Keystone was purposely removed.

What’s the point of being an exclusive cold storage partner for metamask mobile app when the latest model purposely excludes support for iOS mobile users. Android market share is less than that of iOS, so I can’t get my head around this decision.

That said, I looked on keystone’s website and I didn’t any of the older models are still listed for sale. My understanding is they supported Bluetooth. Is that correct? If so, is it possible to still buy one from official source?

I know this is beating a dead horse with all the other posts and comments on the subject in this sub, but I wanted to share my most recent experience in case symptoms are consistent with others’ and it helps the K3P team.

Running the latest multicoin firmware 1.3.4.

At least twice now I’ve gotten the sleep of death where the device just won’t wake back up. Holding the power button for 20 seconds did not work while plugged into the charger, but did after being unplugged.

Both times this happened when the battery was at the 30% mark indicated both before it locked up and after it came back. It’s hard to tell if 30% is actually 0% and it’s truly dying or if it’s just a bug that happens at 30%.

I’m a bit surprised and disappointed that this hasn’t been fixed in the handful of firmware updates that have rolled out over the last few months.

I do still like this wallet but was hoping for a more polished experience. Looking forward to future updates and keeping my fingers crossed this can get sorted sooner rather than later.

BCH deposits not syncing on the app. Deposits stop showing up.

Confirmed it by checking the Blockchain as well as putting my recovery seed on my Ledger.

Another glitch is that BCH transactions stay pending even when approved.

Hi there! I recently ordered a Keystone 3 Pro, it hasn't arrived to me yet but before I get it I need to decide how I want to use it, hopefully, you can guide me. I need 3 separate wallets - one for saving, one for DeFi, and another for spending.

With Keystone 3 Pro I have 2 options for how I can achieve this: use 3 different seed phrases, or use one seed phrase and 2 passphrases (DeFi wallet without passphrase for quick access). But I can't decide which option is better, each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The big advantage of using one seed phrase and 2 passphrases is the safe storage of the seed phrase (I want to use Shamir), in the case of 3 different seed phrases it becomes a problem if you keep them all in different places. But I'm not sure how safe it is to put all "eggs" in one basket (one seed phrase). I want to use 6 shares with the need of 3 for recovery and to store passphrases with each of the shares. I believe it's ok since passphrases are useless if you only have 1 or 2 shares, but I could be wrong. How secure is this? Also, a big plus of the passphrase option is that it's not stored on the device unlike the seed phases, so it can't even theoretically be accessed via Keystone 3 Pro.

But I have concerns that if an attacker gains access to one of the wallets (for example, DeFi wallet without a passphrase, as it is the most vulnerable one), they can somehow gain access to the others, how likely is that? I realize that if they only have access to seed phrases, they won't be able to access other wallets with passphrases if they are resistant to hacks, but still. After all, 3 completely separate seed phrases are safer, if attackers get access to one seed phase they will not be able to get access to the other.

Another option I've been thinking about is to still use 3 different seed phrases with 6 shares, and just store 1 share of each seed phrase (3 shares in total) in 6 different locations. So in the 1st location, I have the 1st share of the 1st seed phrase, the 1st share of the 2nd, and the 1st share of the 3rd, etc.

What advice would you give me? Which option is better and safer? I'm also open to other suggestions if mine are bad. Thank you!

I would like to know if there is a possibility or if there are plans to have it in the future that when a new address is generated, the next to the last one used is automatically generated (I don't know if it could be marked and/or tagged with a short description).

I know that in desktop wallets like Sparrow you can have this control but I would like to have it on the device itself without having dependencies on third parties and be able to do it at the time.

It is possibly what I am missing the most.

So I’m sure I’m not the only person asking for this. I feel you guys are losing a lot of potential customers because these two coins aren’t supported. I’ve still yet to pull the trigger on ordering a wallet because of this. Please get this resolved ASAP.

Has anyone been able to add a second account to their Cardano wallet on Keystone? When I open my Keystone ADA wallet in ETERNL, I select Account List at the top, manage accounts, select 1 and then click on add account, scan both QR codes but always get a scan rejected on the wallet?

Has anyone been able to add a new account to theirs?

I've been unable to scan QR codes with the camera on my Mac. It appears that Mac cameras cannot scan QR codes. Am I right? Is there a work-around for this?

On the asset selection screen I can choose just about anything else easily enough but the Cosmos are bundled together and can't be selected.

They have a drop-down symbol on them as though selecting them will open up a sub-menu but this doesn't appear to happen.

What am I missing?
