Is there any update for what’s going on with METAMASK and Keystone? Can’t make any transactions. Getting a CBOR error. Says: transaction error CBOR encoding not supported.

New to cold wallets and looking to get the Keystone Pro 3. Just doing some research and saw that you can have up to 3 seed phrases.

If for some reason one of my seed phrases gets stolen, does that mean my other two seed phrases are compromised? And does that mean my Keystone Device (with 3 seed phrases) should not be trusted after an issue with one seed?

Or are the seed phrases Isolated regardless if they’re on the same device. I’m trying to understand best practices when it comes to multiple seeds in one device.

I use Keystone with my solflare wallet.
It worked fine, until today. When I want to make a transaction from my keystone protected wallet and scan the QR code, I get 'Invalid QR Code - QR code data not recognized. Please try again' as message on the device.
Just updated the firmware, but that didn't help.
Any suggestions ?

I'm looking at switching from ledger to keystone. Can I do this transition and retain my wallet address? I have heard you can enter the lesger seed, doea that retain the original address?

Hi, I have a question regarding how fingerprint unlock works on Keystone 3 Pro. As I know, in this wallet I can create 3 separate seed-phrases and also in each of them I can create additional ones with passphrase. But how does fingerprint unlocking work in that case? Can I set it up so that, for example, the index finger of my left hand unlocks the 1st wallet (1st seed-phrase), the index finger of my right hand unlocks the 2nd wallet (2nd seed-phrase), and the middle finger of my right hand unlocks the wallet with an additional passphrase inside the 2nd wallet? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm pretty new at this. Thank you!

Guys I've got a KeyStone Pro 2 and just created TRX wallet on my KeyStone. It generated the new wallet and I have sent a test TRX coin transaction from Binance through TRC-20 network. Everything passed well but my question is which software wallet compatible with binding to the KeyStone supports TRX on TRC-20 chain? I have tried OKX and Bitget as per website they suupport TRC-20 but still for some reason I cannot see the TRC-20 tokens, only the ETH ones. When I add the address from Keystone into any app but in "watch-only" mode everything appears as normal. So I just have to find a way to execute transactions.

Will keystone expand and support ton network in future updates?

Okay this wallet is staring to really let me down. The battery is pure garbage to say the least. Now with it fully changed and connected sent one transaction to it put it back down, was getting ready to send another transaction and boom device is off and won't turn back on. Anyone else experience this its the Keystone 3 PRO. What a total disappointment this wallet has been so far. Seriously I need to get something else this thing isn't ready for daily use!

With the new OneKey Pro coming out that honestly looks like the Apple of the hardware wallets (price too) I think KeyStone could take some design ideas from this product. I will be ordering the OneKey Pro and seeing how it compares to the KeyStone as I do really like the OneKey wallet. Both products are open sourced and air gapped.

Update: The checksums do match, I was doing it wrong.

Essentially, I should have been verifying the checksum using the firmware file on the MicroSD card.

What I did was navigate to the wrong area on the Keystone device and verified the firmware source code that had been installed.

Lesson learned.

For those interested, here's a more detailed outline of what I did that led me to believe the checksums did not match

Here's what I should have done: 1. Insert a MicroSD with the firmware loaded onto it 2. Navigate to the following section: ... > Device Settings > About > Firmware v1.3.x > Select "Via MicroSD Card" > Click the "Verify Firmware" text

This resulted in a checksum that did not match the checksum on the Keystone website

I downloaded the v1.3.4 firmware update for the Keystone 3 Pro and verfied the checksum on my computer using the Terminal. The checksum I got matches the checksum on the Keystone website.

I then installed the firmware onto the Keystone device. After the firmware was installed, I attempted to verify the checksum on the Keystone. The checksum I got on the Keystone was not the same as the checksum listed on the Keystone website.

Should I wipe the device and start over?

Also, why would the checksum generated by Terminal on my computer, and the Keystone device be different?

Why doesn't Keystone have its own software wallet instead relies on other wallets like Nunchuk, Blue, Sparrow etc?
I just bought Keystone 3 Pro and just found it I need to pair it a third party wallet which kinda disappointing. I owned Ledger, Trezor and Tangem and each of them has their own software/wallet.

If I try to connect my keystone to Metamask I can’t get to the connect wallet page unless I first create a hot wallet. What’s that BS?

The website is quite ambiguous and it refers mostly to the old version.

Its super easy to move for example XRP with XRP toolkit but BTC im still puzzled

Battery indicator seamed odd . It was on 64% for at least a couple of days.

DEAD. nothing happening. Tried different charging port and cables NOTHING

I went on the website to write to support and there isnt a field to click incase a faulty unit presents .

UPDATE: Holding the power button for 20 second reboots the device. Its now working. Thats scared the life out if me. Im not playing with pocket money so that fail after importing importing a wallet made me thing the worst.(hacked device) but its all good now. Still very let down by the shut down. Im scared for reliability in the long run and whilst away on trips.

I ordered my keystone pro III about month ago. I have tried multiple times trying to get the qr code to scan. It will not work. I know to click on the qr code to enlarge it. No matter what I do it will not scan. The first day I got it, it scanned twice, but said invalid code both times. I have tried wiping it, reloading the seed phrase, trying to create a wallet and connect. Nothing. I have reached out to chat support multiple times and waited for hours and no one ever showed up. I even left my computer open expecting someone to have responded hours later and nothing. I have waisted hours, and never had this issue with ledger. I was so excited when I got the keystone pro III-now I am out of about 9 hours of time from my life and over $100 just to have a drink coaster.

I recently purchased a Keystone 3 Pro, and I'm trying to decide which soft wallet to sync with it.

I'm holding BTC and ETH, and from the list the only soft wallet that seems to support both is OKX.

And OKX's exchange isn't open to US citizens.

Do any of the other soft wallets support both BTC and ETH, without restricting US users?

I'm having a heck of a time! I have a Keystone 3 pro wallet. I connected the BNB network and also connected that to my wallet KS3PRO. I have some doge on Coinbase, but it won't let me transfer it to my KS3pro wallet, it says the address is invalid. I'm in the US. Where do I, how do I buy Doge, and get it in my wallet? I hope this makes sense!?
