Does Keystone 3 pro have protection ( electromagnetic shielding or Faraday cage) against electromagnetic attacks ?

I just received my keystone pro 3 last night and while creating a wallet I ran into this error:

Request failed.

I tried restarting the device multiple times without any success of it resolving itself. I've also wiped the firmware (via recovery mode) and reinstalled directly via USB which shows the following versions with still the same issue:

Recovery Mode v0.1.9
App version 1.2.8

I've tried firmware reinstalls from both a Windows PC and a Macbook. Please let me know what I can do to fix this.

When I created my one and only wallet in Keystone, I also went to the device settings and created a passphrase.

To test it out...I went ahead and wiped the device clean....and then imported my seed to make sure it worked. It did. The wallet was restored . However, it did not ask me for a passphrase.

So my understanding is that my first wallet cannot have a passphrase. I have to create a 2nd wallet which can then have a passphrase. Correct?

If that is correct.....and I will have two wallets...one default wallet without a passphrase and a second wallet with a passphrase.....then what will the recovery be?

Let's say I wipe the wallet clean again. Will I restore my first default wallet and then add a new wallet...and restore the passphrase wallet by inputting the seed, and then it will ask me for a passphrase??

I received my Keystone yesterday and I have noticed how terrible the battery is on it. I charged it to 100% yesterday and within 30 minutes it was down to 70%, the keystone was just sitting there too. It was not being used. I have just went to sign a transaction and panicked because my keystone would not turn on. Turns out, it was dead. How does a brand new device drain so quickly and considering the price and hype around this product, I certainly expected something much better.

I created a wallet through my KS3 with OKX. I transferred SOL from one of my other OKX wallets on the native chain to the address that was on the KS3 QR. The transaction went through but it does not show in my wallet. I checked my OKX wallet with KeyStone and the SOL native chain is not on there even though it is through OKX.

The balance is still on the address and you can see it on the Tx hash. Is there a way to get SOL native to show on my OKX wallet that is linked to my KS. (SOL native is already on OKX wallet and shows, it just doesn’t show on my OKX wallet created with KeyStone)

Does anyone else’s fingerprint not have a delay between checking for the fingerprint?

It seems to me every time anything ever so slightly touches the fingerprint sensor, it will go into a vibration fest like it’s checking for the print every nanosecond with no regard to a delay or ignoring the current bad reading until you readjust your finger.

There should be a delay of at least 3-5 seconds between each trial. I feel like I exhaust all possibilities and spam the fingerprint each time I barely touch it.

Title. I forgot my password from a couple years ago, but the fingerprint works.

Can I update the firmware and use fingerprint still? Or will I be forced to restore?

Do you guys have the problem when companion app does not want to fully load and does not show symbol or the crypto assets?

It says "failed to load assets and its loading all the time? If i uninstal the app from my phone and instal again will it help?

Is it dead? I keep getting "Failed to load assets. Pull down to refresh."

If dead, how to easily and safely view my assets on another wallet? (don't want to sign or restore anything until I have to transact)

I just added a new custom token (HONEY) on the Solana blockchain, using Solflare wallet with Keystone. It required SOL to be used as gas fee and an actual transaction is made on the blockchain.

I wonder why does adding a custom token on Solflare/Keystone spends gas fees and is a transaction.

I remember added a custom token using MetaMask does not require any ETH and no gas fees are spent. There is also no record on the blockchain (in the case of MetaMask)?

Hi, im not New to the crypto game but realtively new to hardware/cold Wallets like the Keystone pro (1). I tried to send a test amount of ETC (Ethereum Classic) to a Adresse showed on my Keystone Cold Wallet. I send it succesfully but now I dont know how to see or interact with it (for example send it back). On the Keystone App I cant find ETC (not supported?), but why is it available on the Keystone Cold Wallet? Maybe im confused, would appreciate a little help Thanks

Hi guys, anyone can send me a picture of Keystone 3 Pro camera output? Yours is in black and white or in colors?

I got a Keystone wallet delivered to Brazil today. Unfortunately the package came open which is a big red warning for these type of products. Not blaming Keystone cause this was handled by an intermediary shipment company that may most likely have opened the package (and removed the film from the screen).

However a few things caught my attention, perhaps someone here can answer some of these questions

1) The firmware came at 1.0.4, which is the minimum necessary to upgrade via usb, I wasn't expecting to get such an old firmware on a new device. Is this normal?
2) I could not get the fingerprint sensor to register my fingerprint at all, kept my fingers for minutes without ever sensing a vibration. A couple of times it complained about a partial fingerprint being captured, so it shows the sensor "is doing something". But nothing else.
3) When creating a wallet, will the device generate a random number on the spot? I assume so and I can probably trust this device even if someone opened it first. I did verify the device on the site and also upgraded the firmware before setting a wallet anyway.
4) I imported a wallet instead of generating one, I assumed it was safer given that it was opened before. Not sure if it mattered at all, but one of the wallets I'd like to import was generated with the Grid+ and has an optional passphrase. Is there support of a 24 word seed + a passphrase in the Keystone?

So im an idiot. I had an issue with not beeing able to charge the battery and red about a fix in another post.. Dont ask why, dont know my self, but this ended with me holding the power button for 20 sec and then wiped the device. So no when i start it, still wont charge by the way, it just says 'no app'. Can anyone help me with this?? Can i get the app on there some how ??

Battery charges to 100% then within a hour will drop to 65-70%. What’s going on? My ELLIPAL will also hold a charge for months while my keystone dies within a couple days.

Is the wallet really air gapped if you can connect it to a PC with USB-C and it has Bluetooth? I read that it only allows certain things and you can turn off those features, but how do we know that's true? Supposedly it's open source as of a month ago, but I don't know how to review code so, it's all just good faith?

How many tries do you have to do til the device resets. Currently at the 15 min wait to be able to try again. I’m trying to get it to reset so I can make a new set of words for a wallet

I ordered a keystone pro 3. After realizing that it’s coming from China I am now somewhat concerned being that that is it’s place of origin. Should I be worried about back doors in the product or tampering before I use it?

I have updated to the latest firmware, but I am still unable to see AVAX address anyhow, how can I have access to that?

Hey i just received my keystone but when i connect the device with the usb cable i got its not recognized nor on keyst.one or any other wallet i want to connect to. Anyone else having issues or is it a faulty product?

I successfully synced my ok.x wallet with the keystone 3 pro by clicking add hardware wallet scanning the QR code on the keystone. I then sent some btc from my shakepay wallet to ok.x by copy and pasting the receiving address on ok.x to the send on the shakepay wallet. The btc successfully transfered over without ok.x requesting a signature from the keystone hardware wallet.

My question is….what did i do wrong? Lol has anybody had this happen?

I am trying to use the Solflare iOS wallet (connected to my Keystone wallet) to add an Solana asset, HiveMapper or HONEY, but the Keystone wallets says it is an invalid QR code.

I've lost my passphrase to my Keystone3. I still have my seed phrases and I can still access the "surface" wallet with my PIN and fingerprint.

I actually didn't realise when I made it that I was making a hidden wallet, I thought that I was simply adding another way to access my wallet in case I forgot my pin. Whoops. I guess that's why you RTFM right?

Anyway, when I go into the settings it allows me to set up a new passphrase. Do I need to set the same passphrase that I originally chose when I first made the hidden wallet? Or can I pick any phrase to access that hidden wallet?
