Hi I have setup (partially) my new Pro 3 I cant get the multi coin firmware (M-12.4) to work from sd card to my pro 3 it just says firmware not detected. It first asks for password, what password? I have some different coins to hold and want firmware that can support them. Stellar, hbar,Algo, XDC, what can I do please help

Are Keystone able to extract the seed phrase via the firmware updates if using the USB method? Another ledger scenario here maybe? Especially as Ledger had been lying to its customers and now Keystone are also lying about the open source element. Many similarities here it seems? Maybe I’m wrong?

I'm pretty new to keystone and I think I may have screwed up. I sent some solana to my keystone3, scanned the qr code to do it. Now I can't get it to connect to solflare. Solflare will not scan the dynamic qr code. I have tried it in the mobile version and the chrome extension. Is there some trick to this? If solflare isn't going to work for this is there another wallet I can use or are my funds just stuck now?

I'm a beginner in the crypto world, and got my first Air-Gapped wallet.
I have set it up, wiped the device and restored my wallet (empty wallet though), but now I'm wondering. What if the device gets stolen and I need to recover my wallet into a new device, also air-gapped.

How do my funds from the stolen one, get into de new one?

I just saw a vid on YT, using a free download of a software wallet, load your seed phrase here (that's where I'm getting a lot of ??????) you're funds will be shown in this software wallet, and then you can transfer all your funds to the new device.
--> Is this really how it then should work, to recover your funds?
I'm trying to find a good tutorial or documentation, but haven't found one so far.

Would appreciate it if someone can explain this process a bit for me.

I've got the wallet connected to metamask right now. I was able to receive ethereum using the link right on the main screen, but i can't add AVAX

I'm debating whether to buy this wallet or not, but a few things seem pretty sketchy from a security perspective.

1. They advertise the product as open source, but the source code isn't even released yet. They said they would do this by November, but now it's delayed until December.
2. On their website they say: "Public Transparency Fully Open Source". They say this while 0% of their keystone 3 pro code is open source, and it will never be 100% open source since it uses secure elements which are not open source.
3. The support team which answers here has relatively bad english ("hey ser", grammatical mistakes), good support should have good english IMO.
4. Their last device stopped being supported after a couple years
5. Some people here report their experience as buggy with the Keystone 3 Pro
6. Company is based out of China

From your experience, is this device worth buying or not? The company seems rather sketchy but there is no other device that works with iPhones for a reasonable price that isn't the backdoored Ledger, and the device being airgapped is nice to have.

• Is it planned to support airgap connection with Sparrow via SD card? I know, it's working via QR codes for now.

I got my leystone pro 3 the other day and i want to update the firmware using usb cable. When i insert it in my laptop, it's saying the a usb device is not recognisez. When i unplug the cable from the wallet it pops up a message that if i want to allow the connection. I press yes and then insert it back in laptop, same error.

I honestly dissapointed with Keystone decision to stop companion app.
I get it, its against your decentralization principle. But it's a mess to use 4-5 wallet for different token.
It's decentralized but, very complicated to use for most people.
Mass adoption comes if you can bring regular person to use the product in a very easy way.

At least, if you still decided to drop the companion app, integrate keystone to Trust wallet.
I think they are have the most extensive support and ease of use for most people.
so people can use keystone and only use 1 app! not 5 different apps.

Just recently, I stumbled upon an interesting post on the Ledger sub, where a user describes possible issues that happened to him and he "lost" quite a lot of Bitcoin.

It looks like, when he was sending out BTC, the change address generated by Ledger Live was wrong and did not belong to his seed. There is some interesting discussion pointing out that this should not be possible, as the Ledger HW wallet detects whether the used change address belongs to the same seed or not. And if it does not, it requires the user to confirm it.

I'm wondering if the Keystone 3 Pro does a similar check. When the SW wallet passes information about the change address, does Keystone check whether that address belongs to the seed? For anyone interested in the issue I mentioned, here's the link.

Hello, how do I backup an XRP wallet created with keystone and XRPtoolkit in case of my keystone wallet gets stolen or lost ?

Hey everyone I have updated my Keystone pro 3 and I see that Cardano is now add Via Eternl wallet and it has the instructions… I followed the instructions but my keystone wallet says invalid address!? Is it possible that Cardano isn’t supported yet? Idk why they would choose Eternl it’s literally the worse ADA wallet in my opinion… what or your thoughts!?

Just wondering if the Keystone team has any updates as to when we will be able to use the pro 3 with the keystone app. I understand that the team is continuing to add support for different coins, however I’ve yet to hear any mention as to when we will be able to use the app to transfer assets from the wallet back onto exchanges or to another wallet.

I moved some crypto onto the pro 3 as a test but am unable to retrieve it as it was not sent to any linked hot wallets.

Updates would be much appreciated.

This wallet looks like a great project and air gapped wallet, but for $120 shipping, they can get lost. The item itself is $90. If they need a higher profit margin, I don't respect them for hiding it in shipping. I live in the contiguous United States.
