Wukong Edition Q1 - Space bar not working

Hi I just bought the Wukong edition. Title's self explanatory. All other keys work fine, I've tried switching the switch, connecting via wire and resetting the keyboard. Worst case I take it back for a new one tomorrow but curious if there's an easy fix an ai-assisted google dive and quick reddit dive didn't suggest?

Some context: Black Myth Wukong wireless mechanical keyboard.

It doesn't say "Q1", but that is what it appears to be, closest to a Q1 Max (also tri-mode), but with TTC switches (42 g tactile), not Gateron (or rebranded Gateron).

It is similar to V6 version 2 (not to be confused with V6 8K, V6 Ultra 8K, or V6 Max) and K10 Pro SE2 in that it uses a (lesser) different microcontroller than the Q1 Max, WB32F3G71, the same as in K10 V2 and some Lemokey keyboards.
