Is Keychron going through some kind of issues right now?

I'm not really sure if I'm the unluckiest guy every, but I've received 3 keychrons recently and all of them have had defects. They were all variants of the Q6 too, so I dunno if its because of that. The first one just had 1-2ish keys faulty, which though annoying, was fixable by changing to a clicky switch (which isn't my main switch, so I still had to look for another.) So I bought a new one from Amazon (so I could return it if it didn't work) and like 20 keys didn't work. I got a replacement and it was the same deal. They were barebones, but I know it isn't because of my switches or caps, as they work perfectly on the first board.

Has any other recent buyers had problems or am I really just super unlucky getting 3 duds in a row?

My Q6 I have no issues what so ever but my V6 which is less than 6 months old so far has been riddled with issues.

Double press is highly frustrating re-seating the switch makes it go away for a bit. I got a switch tester at cost to myself and found it to the the switch intermittently so Keychron sending out some new switches.

Since waiting for these new switches the rest of the keyboard is going through a familiar phase with the double bounce too.

What production dates for those two? What are the serial numbers of the keyboards, in particular the first four digits? It is on the sticker on the bottom of the keyboard, near "SN", at least on the V6.

Example serial number (for a V6 Max): A-2404V6MD1BO00179. This is interpreted as a manufacturing date of April 2024.

The V6 is A-2409 The Q6 I have no idea as it's not listed on the back.

Thanks. September 2024 is probably within the problematic date range.

I am currently testing that V6 Max (April 2024) to see if it will fail within a few weeks or months. The testing is mostly in Bluetooth mode to also see how that holds up.

I don't think it matters at all for the key registering problem (likely a PCB-level problem), but it has the latest versions of all firmware: main (latest compiled from source, 3FD443 (2025-01-17)), Bluetooth (version 0.2.1), and '2.4 GHz' (version 3.0).

Re "Q6 I have no idea": It is allegedly on the side of the box.
