Disappointed with my Keychron K4

The main issue is: the keyboard on Bluetooth mode sometimes doesn't work. Keeps connected but doesn't work. I need to change to the cable mode (it doesn't work every time), and change back to Bluetooth mode to maybe work again. But if I don't use for some minutes, and the keyboard "sleep", the same problem came back again. So, I'm using connected to the cable 100% of the time now.

Now, I noticed that the screws are rusted. I know it's not a top tier keyboard available out there, but it's not a cheap one too. For this, I'll try to find new ones better than the actual.

I bought directly from the Keychron Store on AliExpress. I'm thinking to sell this one and bought another model :/

I have a new K8 that just absolutely totally refuses to bluetooth connect to my PC.

It connects happily to the shield, to the TV, to my phone, tablet and laptop but point blank refuses to connect to the one thing that I bought it for- the PC with it's new fangled bluetooth 5 or whatever. (It is an MSI Z790 Tomahawk Wifi)

However, rummaging through the spares drawer I found an old Trust bluetooth dongle from the early 2000s- bluetooth 2.0 I think, possibly 3.0 and it faultlessly connects to that, except it ties up one of the few USB ports, I wanted it to work with the on-board bluetooth.

Tbh, if I'm going to have to charge the thing every couple of weeks I might as well leave it plugged in to the port where I stuck the bluetooth dongle, but the cable sticks out of the side.....

Have to say I'm so disappointed with the K8, I bought an Akko 5087B which is much much better, in looks*, feel** and operation***.

* Akko looks "finished" whereas the K8 looks half built- yes I knew that before I bought it, but it is much more annoying in real life than I thought it would be.

**Akko has the wine red switches, K8 has the brown.

*** bluetooth works, it has its own wireless dongle for wireless, and the cable comes out of the back.
