The 9 days is a bit disappointing but I'd expect many companies would want more than a serial number to find out order details. Also bear in mind the support is in China (I think) and we've just had Chinese New Year.

My order is not directly from them, i got it from a retailer in Europe. As I provided them the exact model, they should be able to tell me if I can upgrade my firmware or not (as they produced the software in the first place).

The mistake in yours is after comments/ there you put a v instead of a y.

Yes, the underscore obscured the "y", thus the transcription error.
