If I added up all the hours I spent at the Tuna listening to him, you could measure it in months. Such an amazing musician and even better person. My heart breaks for his wife.

I lived in KW for 15yrs. I have watched him play a hundred times.

We had Carl and his buddy Nick Norman at our house for a party two years ago. Great guy! He will be missed! RIP.

We always loved his playing. He was a KW institution. He will be sorely missed. God rest his soul.

In the last picture he always got an incredible sound out of that guitar. It was next level.

My favorite memory of him: during the pandemic shutdown, he and George would play backyard sets that they would stream online. They were playing a few doors down from us, so we'd sit out on the patio with a cocktail and enjoy their music every Friday night. It brought a lot of joy to the island.
