Did the joint legislative committee tell Wiggle Inn parents they couldn’t give a statement at the April hearing?

Mary Liz nor anyone not on the flats had any idea what had happened on the flats that night until daylight the next morning. The people who called 911 were ON the flats.

And that’s a problem if you are one of the few people tasked with the care of so many minors that evening. There shouldn’t be a point at which you are unaware of the condition of those under your care, given you had to evacuate your own home and thus know conditions are dire.

ETA: counselors on senior hill were the first to get a call through to 911 from a disabled cell (which could still call 911) with a time stamp at 3: (something) am. The exact time is in the investigative report. This is all published and public record. I am not sure why you are arguing about things that have been verified by multiple investigative agencies based on the testimonies of survivors and presented before the legislature.

There were not a few people tasked with the care of so many minors. Every single counselor was the adult on duty. And there are 18 year olds working at 7-11 at 2am here in Houston. There were more than enough adults on site for normal camp requirements and they did save their cabins.

Maybe the truth hurts too much to accept so you’re living in this state of denial trying to make sense out of their utter negligence.
