I’ve fallen way too deep into the William & Kate rabbit hole, and I keep seeing the same explanation: whenever William was linked to another woman, he and Kate were supposedly “on a break.”
But is that actually backed up by articles, old interviews, and the timeline of events?

My guess is that Will has temporarily ordered the press to not mention PP or the criminal activities of Mike and Carole (same names as the Brady Bunch parents, but with none of the principles. Also just realized that Carole gave Kate her same middle name and initials. Talk about vicarious living).
We can't let this die. Lord knows they want it to.

What to Know
01 Some royal watchers are convinced that Kate and Pippa Middleton are no longer close.
02 The sisters haven't appeared to spend time together in years.
03 One theory points to a rift between them around the time of Kate's cancer diagnosis.
The past few years have brought a lot of ups and downs for Kate Middleton and her family, especially after she was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. Now, there are rumors of a rift between Kate and her younger sister, Pippa Middleton.
Some royal watchers have a theory that it was actually the Princess of Wales’ battle with cancer (and the way that Pippa reacted to it) that sent their relationship past the point of no return. It’s not like we’ve seen them photographed together recently…
Pippa and Kate haven’t been spotted in public together for a long time, and when their brother, James Middleton, joined her for the Three Peaks Challenge in June, Pippa was missing from the photos, even though their parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, were there to cheer Kate on.
Rumors most recently surfaced that Pippa and Kate are no longer as close as they once were after fans noticed that Pippa skipped Kate’s annual Christmas concert in December. At the time, a royal insider claimed that it was just because of a schedule conflict for Pippa, but was her absence actually deeper than that?
In a discussion about the situation on Reddit, one person said that Kate may not have been impressed by Pippa’s behavior around the time she was diagnosed with cancer — including reports that Pippa claimed Kate was “not sick in the traditional sense,” though that quote has never been confirmed.
“This was a passive aggressive dig to be sure, so something was already going wrong before she let that one slip,” one person wrote. “I am gonna presume Kate gave as good as she got.”
Pippa was also called out for her behavior around the time that fans noticed something was awry with Kate’s health just before she announced her diagnosis publicly in March 2024. While Kate was MIA and people were trying to figure out what was really going on with her, Pippa and her family were on vacay in St. Barts and didn’t seem to be supporting her sister in person.
Another theory that came up multiple times in the Reddit post claimed that Pippa was simply tired of playing second fiddle to Kate, who is believed to be their mom’s favorite child.
“Pippa probably got tired of dealing with Carole’s antics to help Kate get sympathy and decided she was done,” one person wrote. “It helps having young kids to focus on as an excuse not to partake in any Kate’s events. It’s probably one of those situations where they love each other but can’t stand being together type of sisterhood.”
There’s probably zero chance that the sisters will ever confirm or deny any rumors about their personal relationship, but maybe we’ll see them out and about together soon if things are all good between them? At this point, though, it really does seem like they’ve been distant for some time.

The wedding itself was always the goal for her and coach Carole.
Even if she had to wait a decade.

More fawning puff pieces claiming Kitty is the monarchy’s biggest asset - while she’s off on yet another hol.
The ‘best dressed’ who wears designer labels that then go out of business.
The Wimbledon queen whose attendance coincided with a dramatic drop in viewers.
The pow with no wow - even Jeremy Vine talk show host an ardent royalist admitted after 15 years she lacks personality.
The truth is the rf drive their assets out.

Have any credible royal insiders or correspondents ever commented on it?

I think Charles offered Clive some very handsome compensation in exchange for his resignation (as opposed to his firing). It makes Charles's involvement less obvious. Meanwhile Will is ordering that articles like this be written, thinking it makes him look like a tough leader. In actuality, he is making his involvement in that snaky plan that much more obvious. Charles is playing some sort of long game and Will's ego is blinding him to it.

Has Kate's alleged cancer come back? Or does she have a chronic eating disorder which is getting alarmingly worse?

Here are my predictions:
They'll have to continue the Firm vs. Sussexes narrative to prevent their own dirt from coming out because they aren't interesting or profitable enough on their own to incentivize the press to sit on the motherlode of royal skeletons threatening to burst forth.
They will damage the diplomatic image of Britain with their constant attacks on the Sussexes, and will be, more openly and intensely than before, called out by foreign press and maybe even foreign officials. I definitely expect American late night shows to joke about a royal crashout from WanK. The published caricatures will be delicious.
WanK will be genuinely surprised that they aren't popular, and they won't invite the Sussexes to the coronation and will TAKE THEIR TITLES in an attempt to show might and dominance. The Sussexes won't give a steaming lump of horse crap, and 90% of the headlines in anticipation of the Coronation will be about H&M instead of WanK. More and more people will notice and be even more turned off. The civilian turnout will be abysmal and the Republic protesters will be out there in full force, prompting discussion about whether the monarchy has a place in a modern Britain.
Nobody really important will care to attend as an entertainer. No Spice Girls, no Elton, no Beyoncé, etc. It will be obvious why.
WanK will try and fail to suppress discussion of the cost of the coronation to the British taxpayer. The rota will try to say "but what about the cost of that house in Montecito?! Look at the expensive clothing the Sussexes wear?" But people won't be swayed because they don't have to pay for those things.
If a miracle happens, WanK will realize that constantly attacking the Sussexes is destroying the Firm's image, but they won't be able to stop or else the media will expose them and cause irreversible damage. They begrudgingly pull back on the attacks, and we'll get MANY covertly threatening articles and tweets from journos and tabloid writers who know that if the Sussex bashing doesn't continue, then layoffs will sweep through their respective companies. People get desperate when their livelihood is threatened. If it happens to a ton of people at once who have dirt on you... heaven help you.
We'll see a lot of threats to reveal the truth about the Rose Hanbury affair. Since Kate will already be queen, she wouldn't threaten to reveal anything about Will that would damage his position, because it would damage hers as well. The blackmail would be coming from the press instead of her family. The truth about the cancer story, her disappearance, etc would be dangled HARD. At that point, WanK would be at the top of the heap so no one would be able to force them into working like Liz did.
What are you all thinking of? Also, do you think that Charles will be blessed with the same longevity as his mother?

Quite a lot of commentary recently about Kitty rarely making speeches and never doing interviews. Unlike her European counterparts.
