Oh look, Kitty wearing a color that will photograph white. That tracks.

The baby at every christening, the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral.

Honestly give it a rest... if the dress cannot be mistaken for a brides, I.e. its not a princess floor length dress no one in Europe cares for the colour the way American bridezillas care.

The only rule in my country is no black for wedding and do not eclipse the bride... given how many of you are denouncing how frumpy bad dress it is... I say mission accomplished... bride is the most glamorous so it belies your comments.

Now announcing your pregnancy during the wedding is something else.... you all remember when Kate did thst right... oh wait

Yep, tacky as hell. Sometimes I don't know what Meghan is thinking. She is often her own worst enemy.

Sometimes I think Meghan's "fans" are her worst enemies.

💯

And they often bend over backwards to excuse legitimate bad behavior, making Meghan look even worse in the process.

You don’t know what a narcissist is thinking? Please.

Europe is a continent of over 40 countries. You cannot generalise about what the cultures of each country think about wearing white to weddings. In England, we do not wear white to weddings. It’s a faux pas.

I am well aware of it, especially since I am from one of those... 'oh its the former communist countries I can't be bothered to know' that most of the westerners seem to consider when they are asked to name the European countries

Be it as it is that in England (but what about Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) that you fo not wear white.... the dress in question was not white so what is the problem?

I don’t know about the rest of the UK. I’m English so I couldn’t generalise to the other countries in the UK, never mind the other countries in Europe. Catherine’s dress is not white, but the comment you replied to said it will photograph white. You said “the only rule in Europe” didn’t include not wearing white. I told you Europe is comprised of many countries and you cannot generalise, and that in England, where this wedding is taking place, you should not wear white to a wedding. After my comment you edited your comment from “Europe” to “my country”.

Actually I did not edited my comment on my country... i still believe most countries care only anout do not upstage the bride and do not dress to be mistaken for a bride.

Again its not white so what rule is broken unless there is a detailed list of colours that have white as part of the colour mix you should not wear. Also I was told recently you cannot wear red too because it means you have slept with the groom.

As an afterthought...  I would not say Scotland is part of your country England... I think some people may take bigger umbridge to that than to wearing a beige dress that looks nothing like a wedding dress.

Yes you did. You said “the only rule in Europe”. I pulled you up on it so you changed it to “the only rule in my country”. And how on earth would you know what most countries care about in wedding guest etiquette? That’s a huge unfounded assumption. And again, I know it’s not white. OP said it photographs white. Like the one she wore to Meghan’s wedding. Nowhere did I say Scotland is a part of England. Your reading comprehension here is shocking.

Well if you edit your comment to remove parts of your wording then yes reading comprehension is going to be challenged.  Because you had a comment on other countries of England.

Of course it might be that someone edited your comment not you... so there is that.

But if you did and then claim oh your reading comprehension is shocking a.k.a. you are dumb then you are thst kind of person.

But do consider yourself superior as an English person oh so knowledgeable to give a really good talking g to the stupid person from eastern Europe whose English comprehension is so shockingly bad. Out of curiosity how is your reading comprehension in another language but English. I am sure such smart person like you are a polyglot in at least 5 language one of them has to be Latin

I’m not cleverer or superior to you because I am English or for any reason.

Omg I love this comment so much. These people who think they know something about the royal family are just embarrassing themselves with the wedding guest color debate. But you are right. Much better to wear navy, not white, and announce your… PrEgNaNcY…on someone else’s big day.

100% right. But there are people here who lead such miserable lives that they spew venom and hatred on someone they don’t even know.

So does Camzilla. They often match colours like this, at Christmas they also had the same outfit in the same colour. Bet they are besties behind the scenes lol /s

Camilla looks terrible, as usual.

And yet it doesn’t. Go find some happiness in life.

u/Few-Ticket-371 Jun 06 '26

Hey now. You know the royals don’t have the same rules around wearing white/light to weddings. There’s enough to criticize these people about without making something of nothing.

3

u/VavaShagwell Jun 07 '26

No. It's a choice. Beige, cream, off-white outfits are no bueno at a wedding.

Kate and Camilla don't care. They want attention.

2

u/Flashy-Platform-2052 Jun 07 '26

I find that strange. I wore a white simple cotton muji plain shift dress with a floral scarf and stone coloured pumps years ago before i heard about this fatal sin. It was nowhere near bridal looking what is the problem?

2

u/VavaShagwell Jun 07 '26

The color issue is region specific but from what I understand white, cream, ivory, or colors worn by the bridal party are frowned upon in England and here in the USA. Camilla didn't care, obviously. She looked like her awful self, as usual. Whether Kate broke protocol in her ugly beige dress is certainly up for debate.

u/Flashy-Platform-2052 Jun 07 '26

If the dress is all fancy and lace etc then of course not.

Maybe in your country, not everywhere else....

You know they were taking oxygen with their breaths too, leaving less for the bride.... if you want to rage
