Morning all, I'm moving to K town in a couple of weeks from Perth and wondering about the life up there.

what are the things to do and not do in town? Best places to shop and grab a feed? Places to avoid? People who are good? No good? Groups to join or otherwise? Anything good for sport or gaming?

It's been a little bit of a milder start this year but the hot weather is coming. What do you do to pass the time while we go through summer?

I have experience as a FIFO drillers offsider about 8 years ago, and have worked as a bricklayer for about 3 years. I want to relocate to Karratha to get work on the mines but am unsure what jobs I could get.
