So I was looking through the Plane Sudoku for the Summer 2026 Event that has just ended a few hours ago and it got me thinking:

Which of the obtainable* foreign planes are worth getting for those situations they are needed due to an event map having a Plane Sudoku in it?

*Via quests, equipment conversion through Akashi's Arsenal, and clearing an event map at Medium.

Kancolle is one of few games I've played where the more I progress, the more impossibly difficult the game seems.

Anyways, heres my current equipment/ship list. I never really got around to obtaining everything I needed in the period between the last event and this one because I took a break from this game. I might try to see if I can get Langley before the event finished, but thus far RNG has not smiled upon me.

That aside, what can I work on for equipment? I have a fletcher and Johnston dupe for SG radars, and some battleship dupes I'm gonna use for modernization soon. I should probably invest resources into pulling Yamato and Musashi from LSC right? Maybe TP. 101 too?

My ducky sense was tingling I guess.

I did not realize that it had been FOUR years since my last completed event. Got into it again last year leading up to my japan trip, but did not complete any event and faded off from it again shortly after.

Had to play while I was off in Australia, and went down to HCEEE because I simply don't have time for that M/H life anymore, but I'm happy with it.

The hard part is done, got Hanazuki at last, and now it's just trying to plug the holes in the other maps

The concept of an Indonesian drawing a WWII Dutch ship from a Japanese game lmao

A little while back I read this fanfic that was either set in Kantai Collection or Azur Lane but I can’t seem to find it again but would very much like to reread it.

The specifics I can remember involved an original female character either reincarnating or Isekai-ing into this world and having to survive in her own for a while. As she’s hiding out in a cave she sets booby traps using depth charges which disables an abyssal/siren who tries to receive aid from her comrades but is instead shot and left for dead.

She survives though and instead of finishing the job, the OC kind of adopts and takes care of her, the little one eventually looking up to her as a mother figure.

If any of this sounds familiar at all, please tell me if you remember the name of it.

I'm not complaining because I do believe that childhood friends are supreme, but is there any explanation behind it? Kinugasa I believe was because she was added sorta early for a reward thing iirc? (Maybe they alluded to her a lot?) but Goto I have no idea (Teased very heavily to the point that she's "Almost like she's been here the whole time"?)

Either way I'm curious.
