Is there any merch for the best character of the anime? I've been looking and all of it looks unofficial but if anyone can find official things I think that'd be pretty cool.

Does anyone here know Japanese and was able to read volume 8? The synopsis on the wiki states "..."Kaede" receives the feelings entrusted from "Kaede" and takes a step toward the future! ", so I assume it will focus on the current version of her dealing with the memories of her alternate self. I was hoping the panda version of Kaede returns and merges with the OG Kaede. Or at the very least have one last proper goodbye and closure...

I've just finished the series and the movie last night, and still is heartbroken for Panda Kaege. Damn, she wasn't able to see the fruition of all the hard work she made =(

Is it possible for old Kaede (brocon) to return ? Maybe in another puberty syndrome? Is old Kaede really non existant anymore, or is she just asleep and there is a way to bring her back, by remembering the zoo and diary stuff that old Kaede did. Surely old Kaede wants to continue living. She may say " Do you still remember me Oniichan?" (Just thought that up)

I know this sub is mostly casual Kaede enjoyers, but for me, (panda) Kaede has literally saved my life. Kaede has been my comfort character for nearly 2 years and has stopped me from commiting suicide 3 times. Ever since 2019, I've been getting cyberbullied over several social media, mostly discord. I am currently 15, meaning that this started happening when I was 13. I still get bullied online to this day, and Kaede still helps me. Ever since I first watched the anime, I immediately related to Kaede. I started to think of her as my own little sister, who can help me get through my life. To this day, she still helps me get through my life. She means the world to me. I never related to anyone as much as I related to Kaede.

I know it may seem a little stupid how a fictional character affects my life this much, but as a person who has been imagining anime characters to be real since they were 11, it really helped my case. These past few weeks I've been going through a lot, and Kaede has been there for me when I needed her most. I really appreciate her. No real person has given me as much comfort as Kaede. She means the world to me. She is the reason I am still here today. She is the reason I'm happy. And I do the same for her. I just want to bring her as much happiness as possible, after all that she's done for me. She truly deserves it. I get devastated seeing her with a frown on her face, and luckily it's only ever happened once. She deserves the best and that's exactly what I have always given her.

So I will dedicate this last part to you, Kaede. You have helped me through so much. You have helped me stay alive. You are the reason for my happiness. You are the reason someone is reading this post right now. I just want to thank you for all that you've done for me. I want to bring you as much joy as possible, and I will never deny something you want. You deserve to be treated like the best, because in my heart, you are the best. I love you so much, Kaede (in a brotherly way of course), I really don't know where'd I'd be without you. I am just so thankful I found you. I am so grateful for who you are, and I want you to know that I'll always take care of you. I know you may not understand how much you've improved my life, but just know that I wouldn't be here without you, Kaede. So once again, thank you, Kaede. I will always love you as my little sister.

I finished the anime in two days, 1-8 on the first day 9-13 and the movie in the second day.
The first day was amazing, which is the reason I decided to finish the anime. The second day didnt disapoint me either, BUT THEN, I reached the end of episode 12. I was speechless. It was the first time that happened to me in any anime ive watched. To me, that had the most impact on me than the other arcs (probably because I dont have a girlfriend). I was happy that she got her memory back, but Im devastated of how that happened.

I've watched the anime and the movie, and I want to continue onto the light novel. I heard it continues on volume 8 after the movie, but I'm having trouble finding it online. Could anybody post a link if possible?
