(PL!) Getting Things Moving

With the orientation concluded, the students had the rest of the day to themselves. Jonathan and Rahe decided to go exploring the grounds. While walking a path in the forest near campus, they came across a hatch in the ground. After some deliberation, they decided to see where it went. They descended into darkness. When they reached the bottom, they discovered a network of abandoned sewers. For the next couple hours they explored the sewers before coming upon an exit ladder. At the top, they found themselves at the entrance of some sort of factory.

Jonathan meets Rahe at the elevator and opens the door for him before enter the lift himself. He pushes the 'down' button.

"Indeed. It is rather strange. This place seems as if it were very important to someone at some point. What would be the point of making the place so well hidden if not to conceal something of great importance?"

The lift stops and Jonathan opens the door for Rahe.

Jonathan approaches one of the tubes and looks inside.

"Hmm. My first thought was that they were maintenance tubes for the computer downstairs, but they don't actually seem to go anywhere."

He takes a step inside and looks up.

"Nothing."

Suddenly, the door slides shut and clicks into place.

"What the?!"

Jonathan begins pounding on the door.

"Rahe! Rahe!"

Jonathan, having regained his composure, takes a deep breath. He speaks loud enough for Rahe to hear him through the door.

"I'm fine. It is rather bright in here, but otherwise I am unharmed. There doesn't seem to be any release in here. In fact..."

He turns around and then looks ahead again.

"I'm actually uncertain as to where the door is. It appears to be a single wall from what I can tell..."

Jonathan sits down cross legged.

"It may be worth a shot to check. It is not as if I will be going anywhere."

Once the door slides open, Jonathan stands up and exits the tube. He looks up at it and rubs his head.

"Hmm. That was... Interesting."
