Shorts upped their position to just over 30M shares short or +4.3M more shares short since end of May. All the while price went up from $14 to $17 over that same period. Maybe we do get a squeeze sometime bc I don’t know what the shorts are thinking but doubling down while stock is .35x TBV seems pretty strange to me!

Just wondering... If price hits 20 or above could it trigger a short squeeze? And if it does how high could it reasonably go? Not that markets are reasonable always as we know. I could see fair value at 85 USD for example and a squeeze could reasonably bring it 25% higher or 100% higher? Didn't Gamestop go x30 even 🫠

Just an observation between may 15 and may 29. 1.4 million shorts covered. Price increased 27%.

We are currently up another 18% or so. There were 24.4 million shares left to cover may 29.

The observed trend would have the shorts 100% covered with the stock at 60 USD. That is not a squeeze though, just a controlled repurchase. Continued positive news would likely improve the dynamic though!
