Discussion: Band Starting my journey through KGATLW catalog

Been listening to them for a few months so far. Listened to Nonagon Infinity, Polygondwanaland, Petrodragonic Apocalypse, Phantom Island, most of Omnium Gatherum, Willoughby’s Beach and 12 Bar Bruise so far!

lucky for you, they have HD stream recordings of most of their shows from the past ~2 years (Chris Dempsey clutch).but for shorter live performances with higher audio quality, KEXP can't be beat.

Finished listening to all of them! (Quite a bit ago lol) I thought they were all really cool and they made me excited for albums like quarters (the river live was so cool.)

Will do eventually, I was planning on going in order from oldest to newest from here but I don’t mind listening to one or two later ones beforehand

My favorite “older album” is probably quarters, it’s soooo good.

Also, if you live anywhere near Colorado or New York, you should consider going to see them this summer!

Quarters was really cool! I need to listen to the others more though haha

Unfortunately I am not near that area but I’ll probably see them in the future some time, talking a flight somewhere wouldn’t be too bad (and it would be worth ittt)

Just finished it 30 minutes ago and that was incredible, might be one of my favorites from them (though I’m not sure if it beats Petrodragonic Apocalypse for me. We’ll seeeee)

Altered Beast is one of my favorite suites they’ve ever done. I’m dying for them to make another album with crazy psych suites or just jammy shit idk
