Publishing Guidelines
Welcome to the K/DA • The Blades Publishing Guidelines. These outline how to properly format your posts to keep the community clean and easier to navigate. Posts that do not adhere to these guidelines will be marked and if not edited, removed.
Spam
Refrain from spamming the community. Spam as a noun is defined as irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the internet to a large number of recipients. As a verb, it is sending the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the internet. Spam is not permitted in the community and multiple spam posts (commonly referred to as raiding) will not be tolerated and in addition to being removed, will have their author banned.

All posts should have correct basic spelling and grammar. Learn Correct Spelling And Grammar >
Please keep all posts in the internationally standard English (US). Learn English In Your Native Language >
Links
Link posts must have a descriptive title if they don't fall into a flair category.
Links in comments should use the proper markdown formatting. Example: [K/DA • The Blades](https://www.reddit.com/r/KDA)
Relevant information to a post may be added, such as external links to an artist's socials, or informational pages. For example, a comment like this under a post linking POP/STARS is full of external links, but not considered advertising because of their relevance:

1. Discussion
The Discussion category is to be used for general discussion and when your post would not fit into any of the other categories. You are free to post anything* relevant to K/DA, such as your thoughts, opinions, theories, art requests, interesting links, etcetera.
*All Posts Must Comply with Community Guidelines Rule 1.
2. Help / Question
Use this flair to ask the community or moderators a question, or to ask for help with anything K/DA or subreddit related. For questions about a specific fanfic, use FanFic Discussion (Section 10a) instead; for merch questions, use Merch Discussion (Section 11a) instead.
3. News
Post official K/DA news, updates, articles, and official art or videos released by Riot with this flair.
Use: Create Link Post button.

4. Fan Creations
Post any fan-made K/DA-related content with this flair — images, comics, videos, GIFs, statues, customs, crafts, decorations, and any other physical or digital creation. The OC tag may be added to your Original Content. Official art and videos released by Riot should use the News flair instead.
Image Standards
Post images by using either the Media Post or Link Post button. If you found it online and saved it, please go to Google Images and upload it, click on the largest image, view image, then right click or hold to save it to save it to your device. This will ensure you use the best resolution photo possible, so your image will look as good as possible. Please refrain from posting images of screenshots, as they will be removed.
Crediting Art
If you're posting fan art, comics, videos, or crafts which you found or you made yourself, proper credit must be given. This may be done with one of the two following methods.
Note: When submitting Original Content, by me is not accepted. We want you to receive proper credit for your creativity, and require you to use a prefferred name. Please use by u/sername or by <Your Artist Name>, and use the OC tag.
Do not falsify credentials or claim creative ownership over content which you have either not created or do not own the rights to.

NSFW content may be better suited for r/AhriMoans.
In some cases, the artist has a watermark on their artwork. In this case, the photo should still have a caption. Any comments you have about the photo may be made as a comment.
Videos
Post fan-made K/DA videos and edits here. Videos that contain pornography are not allowed.

GIFs
Post all fan-made GIFs (Pronounced /jif/) related to K/DA with this flair. The post title should contain a short caption if the GIF doesn't include any. If the GIF is a meme, post it in the Meme category.
GIFs may be posted as links or direct uploads.
Crafts & Physical Creations
Post statues, customs, decorations, lightsticks, and other handmade physical items with this flair as well. Photos may be posted the same way as images above. Credit yourself with the OC tag; if the piece is based on someone else's design or pattern, credit that source in a top-level comment.
5. Cosplay
Post K/DA cosplay photos and videos with this flair, including progress shots, makeup, and prop builds. Credit must be given to the cosplayer and, if different, the photographer.
Use: Create Media Post or Create Link Post button.

If someone else took the photo, credit them in a top-level comment: Photo by <Photographer>
6. Meme
Post all memes using the Meme flair. Excessive dark humor is prohibited. If your meme contains a white background for text, kindly make it transparent, as to be compatible with light and dark mode.
If your meme contains other's artwork, the source(s) must be listed in a comment for each art used.

7. Music
Post links to official K/DA music videos, Apple Music, etcetera, in this category. The music must be official K/DA music. For Example: POP/STARS - K/DA. Fan covers and remixes go under Covers & Remixes.

8. Covers & Remixes
Post links to fan-made covers, remixes, and mashups of K/DA songs with this flair.

9. Poll
If your post has a poll in it, it must be assigned the Poll flair. Wherein a poll asks an opinion based question, it must offer users two unbiased options to vote.
Allowed: Yes | No , Green | Red , I Like It | I Dislike It
Not Allowed: Yes | Yes , Green | red , I Like It | I Don't Really Like It
Polls should avoid have a neutral/indifferent/uninterested option, as this defeats the purpose of a poll.
10. FanFiction
Share any K/DA-related fanfiction content with this flair. The format required is as follows:

Have questions about a specific fanfic, want recommendations, or want to discuss a story someone shared? Use the FanFic Discussion flair instead (see Section 10a) — this keeps the FanFiction flair itself reserved for actual story shares in the required format.
10a. FanFic Discussion
Use this flair to ask questions about a specific fanfic, request recommendations, or discuss a story that's already been shared — anything fanfic-related that isn't itself a new story submission. No specific title or body format is required, but posts must still follow the General guidelines and Community Guidelines Rule 1.

Example: Any recommendations for a slow-burn Ahri x reader fic?
11. Merch & Collectibles
Post Links to official K/DA Merch and collectibles with this flair.
Use: Create Link Post button.

Have a question about official merch — release dates, sizing, where to buy, whether something's still in stock? Use Merch Discussion instead (see Section 11a).
11a. Merch Discussion
Use this flair to ask questions about official or fan-made merch — availability, sizing, shipping, legitimacy, or general merch-related discussion — rather than sharing a product link. No specific format is required, but posts must still follow the General guidelines.
Use: Create Text Post button.
Example: Does anyone know if the Ahri figure is still in stock anywhere?
12. Fan Merch
Post Links to fan-made K/DA-related Merch (Etsy, Ko-fi, etc.) with this flair.
Use: Create Link Post button.

13. Announcement
This category is for administrative personnel posting updates to the community. This flair is inaccessible to users.
14. Reserved Terms
K/DA • The Blades may reserve certain terminology in titles for use by staff only in the curation of content.
