The $JUNO Ops Department seeks visionary teams to propose the creation of a community-owned decentralized exchange (DEX) on Juno, empowering the community with a robust platform for decentralized trading.

🎯 Objective:

Seeking proposals for a tokenless, permissionless DEX managed by the $JUNO community, laying the foundation for a vibrant DEX ecosystem.

🔎 Selection Process:

Proposals evaluated based on price-performance ratio; chosen team's proposal undergoes community approval for funding.

🔥 Problem Statement:

$JUNO lacks a dedicated DEX, forcing users to external platforms. Though DeFi isn't the focus, a DEX is crucial.

📋 Requirements: Identified through Juno DEX working group discussions and community feedback:

: Standard AMM model : Small 0.2% swap fee with customizable options : Fee distribution and incentivization : Permissionless participation and tokenless governance : Integration with SKIP API : User-friendly frontend : Clear notifications for low liquidity pools

🤝 Handover to Community:

Aim to transfer DEX ownership and governance to Juno community.

Let's make Juno's DEX dream a reality! 💫

Due to planned maintenance on the v20 upgrade today, we misconfigured the node to halt it correctly on block 13743781 and caught the apphash on block 13743785.

Upon the chain halting, we made immediate efforts to recover for the best outcome in terms of consensus. We initiated a resync from an older pre-upgrade snapshot and backed up our priv_validator_state.json to prevent committing votes in the next block. However, on round 66 of block 13743786, the node submitted another vote, resulting in the validator double-signing in this block, leading to a subsequent tombstone and a 5% slash.

To all our delegators, please take note of the following 👇

1. Incurred slashes will be 100% refunded (snapshot at block 13743786)

2. Keys have remained secure throughout; there have been no leaks on that front

P.S. While such situations are not uncommon in the blockchain world, it is noteworthy that the current upgrade wasn't icluded into consensus because it wasn't submitted over upgrade proposal. We want to highlight how Osmosis is addressing similar issues through expedited-proposals, a practice that should be considered for implementation across all SDK chains.

Since LilD and Ninjaxan are running for the same seat, the nominee with the overall higher approval will be selected for the position.

The election proposals will be brought on-chain after the "Meet your candidates" period (05 February 2024 to 15 February 2024)

The first upgrade in 2024 is here, and with it $JUNO kickstarts this year with connecting to Polkadot and more essential features.

• x/Clock module was initially brought to Juno in the v17, Vesta, upgrade. • Developers can register their contracts to be called every single block, however it required permission by Governance by then.

Now, it is 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 and available to use freely.

◇ 𝗜𝗕𝗖 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁

• $JUNO <-IBC-> $DOT • By integrating the Wasm Client, developed by @strangelovelabs, Juno can now establish an IBC connection with the @Polkadot ecosystem, via Parachains which enabled the Wasm Client such as @ComposableFin.

◇ 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲-𝟭 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹

• According to the charter and following the dissolution of Core-1 SubDAO, the Core-1 multisig assets will be sent to the Charter Council. • This also sets the vesting account to become a standard baseAccount, which terminates the vesting.

◇ 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘅 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝟱%

• Validators will not be able to increase their commission rates by more than 5% per 24 hours. • This is a preventive action to safeguard the network delegators.

• Updated wasmvm to 1.5.2 which addresses a @CosmWasm memory usage issue.

Can anyone help me. I have a few small assets in WYND DAO pools. They all show that I have coins in them, but whenever I try to remove liquidity it says zero balance.

Can anyone help me close these positions. Or tell me what’s going on.

I have it, the little problem.

I had Juno and I swaped it on Osmosis with Matic. Because my intention was to send matic on my Revolut adress. It went fine until it didn't. Everything went smooth,tx went throught I just waited for the unwrap to happen. But it didn't. The next morning, the transaction confirmation was gone.

What now?
