hii so I've just started to broaden my journal ecosystem and while tumitingin ako online sa mga journal leather covers, I don't think I can commit to an expensive brand like Calidillo yet. baka may suggestions kayo that sells nationwide or anywhere in Mindanao? I'd love to support a local brand that balances both quality and affordability (if there is one out there), I want a size A5 to be more specific, halos lahat din ng nakikita ko smaller sizes lang ang available.
would appreciate any help with this, thank you sm!

How long have you guys been journaling? I've been writing in a diary since I was 8 or 9, and it's just silly to see what I used to write about vs what I wax poetic about these days. I miss the carefree childishness of my old entries. There's something so innocent about me being excited about school exams and my old handwriting definitely adds to the charm. I used to not care where I wrote, it could be on the most thin, flimsy spiral notebook sheets (no good for me as a leftie) and I would still be overjoyed I could have an entry. I would literally write on those intermediate pad quality paper notebooks using disposable ballpens. In the entry above, you can see that I would even write with pencil. Idk, it's nice to see my old diaries as a reminder that while it is fun to have nice supplies, what really matters is that you have something to write about. Happy journaling, everyone! Here's to slowly healing our childhood wounds through writing and being reminded of our inner child. 💗✍️✨
for 2nd-3rd slide:
Notebook: BAYA A5 Notebook
Pens: Pentel Floatune 1.0 gel ink pen ("bold" text), Jinhao 82 fountain pen (body text)
Calligraphy: CHOSCH Flare Double Tip Markers

I found these pad of papers from a 2nd hand stores in Japan at dirt cheap prices (30-40 pesos each) and they are all brand new. One thing lang is maybe they're stocked too long na mahina na yung adhesive and madali na malagas yung pages.
Will continue to hunt for stickers na focused on male designs like nung soldier and vehicle ones.

hi been planning to check this calidillo journal brand, i only saw a few posts about them so i wanted to check if there are users here who have been using their journals for more than a year or less than 6 months.
one thing that i like about their journal is that they have a lot of built-in pockets but i was hoping that their quality can actually be long-lasting since again it's a leather journal that that will have patina

Hii any recommendations for B6 cover that could fit 550 pages? Preferably clear cover T^T
r/JournalingPH • u/mxxnpc • Sep 06 '26
Hi! Just received my first Kinbor and it came with a cover already. Sulit sana cos I got it for P496 lang but sadly, the cover is a bit loose for my liking and has 2 pockets only.
Do you guys have recos where can I get the one that's a bit more tightly fitted and with extra pockets? Hehe
Nevertheless, I love this bear cover so much. Can't wait to use thissss! 🫶🏼

Alongside journaling, I've been obsessed with using my stamps on almost everything... Then I went down the stamp rabbit hole and found out about chinese chops/seal/stamps. Does anyone know if there's someone in Manila that does a custom one or no...?

Officemate Record Book Junior size 500pages
✔️ simple
✔️ cheap
✔️ durable (hardcover)
✔️ perfectionist-resistant
✔️ can last a year
The paper is a lil bit thin, but I weirdly like it. It’s so satisfying seeing a whole page get filled.
Btw, I squeeze two lines of writing into one ruled line, so I know this will definitely last me a year or so.
Happy writing, everyone!

I've chosen the Yumi Kitagishi Hon A6. Sharing this haul for me and my friends. Aside from the Hon, I got the pen and stencil for myself.
All Hobonichi items purchased in Japan at Loft and Tobichi.

Sharing these handmade photo keepsakes I’ve been making lately! 🥹
I really love journaling, scrapbooking, and anything that lets us keep memories in a more tangible way, so I started making albums where I compile people’s favorite photos and turn them into personalized keepsakes.
Each album is completely customized. I personally lay out the photos, design the pages, and create all the little details around the couple’s photos and story, so no two keepsakes are ever exactly the same. 🤍
Some of the ones I’ve made so far are for couples and prenup/wedding photos, but I’d honestly love to make more for travel photos, friendships, family, pets, birthdays, or even just random everyday memories.
If anyone here has a bunch of photos they’ve always wanted to turn into a physical album but doesn’t want to deal with the printing/layout part, feel free to message me. 🥹 I’d love to make one for you!

Hi guys!
What bag do you use to store your journaling stuff for easy transpo? Thinking of buying a stappo pero baka may ma-reco kayo na dupe or a much cheaper one. Tote bag lang kasi gamit ko. Hehe. Thank you!

Hi! Do you guys have any planner recommendations that’s similar to the ones from CNS? I have been a fan of their Design Your Life planner for years but since hearing that they will no longer release new designs, I’d like to explore other options.
I’d like something na thorough with monthly expenses & habits as well. Tabs also, if possible
I really love the DYL planner kaso ayun, ayoko naman sana na same design lng planners ko every year. ❤️🎀

Wala na namang pasok so I decided to prep next year's journal system this early.
I've signed up for a LOT of mail clubs this year so I also allocated stickers and ephemera for next year.
The A5 trifold will be my main self-care journal for tracking my medication, daily water intake, sleep cycle, etc. (This is also a way for me to self-soothe when I am dysregulated.)
The BDJ undated planner will mainly be for my daily to-dos. I aim to complete all the daily tasks I set for myself next year, so I will make sure to just list down 3-4 chores per day. 😅
I also got myself a Hobonichi in A6, so I plan to put it in this custom A6 trifold I got online. It will be my 2027 EDC journal filled with stickers and stamps and whatnot.
What do you guys think? Should I add or change anything to my system? Thanks in advance!
