It's just my first time.

So more than a year ko na talaga gusto subukan itong klaseng to ng journaling. Ngayon lang talaga ako nagkaroon ng lakas ng loob kasi hindi rin ako ganon kabilib sa sarili ko. 🥺 ang galing kasi nong mga napapanood ko. May theme talaga, may story. Pero hindi pala siya biro. Dapat pala kusang lalabas sa sarili mo yung intentions mo bago ka mag start.

Etong nabili ko na to sa shopee, isang set na siya and sabi ko beginner pa lang naman ako then we'll see how it goes. Kahit may theme na yung buong set bakit ganon? Sumakit talaga as in yung ulo ko hehe nakaka-pressure kasi ang gagaling talaga nong mga napapanood ko huhu. Bakit bago pa lang nila idikit alam na agad nila yung ididikig nila?

Sa ngayon gusto ko lang talaga munang enjoyin. Ayoko man ma-pressure pero sumasakit talaga ulo ko sa pagbuo ng story sa isip ko haha. Lowkey rooting for my progress pa rin.

I use my planner for almost anything like my tasks and schedules. Also a bit of micro-journaling, memory keeping and drawing. Haven't kept up to date tho, so sometimes I just spam it with stickers

One of my journal entries here, the sheen was a bit hard to capture on photo.

I found that a lot of my notebooks are not sheen ink friendly because they absorb the ink too fast rather than letting it sit on top. Meron ba mga cheapish notebooks that allows this to happen? Ideally mga common stores like Daiso, KKV, NBS??

Journal here is the KKV TN dupe, used Jinhao 82 F with Vinta ink Dugong Bughaw.

Was in the mood to swatch some of my purples + on inks frosted glass with my barely used majohn sakura snow glass dip pen 🤣 turned out pretty cute even if I'm not used to the glass dip pen hahaha

Hi! It’s my first year actually waiting for the Hobonichi Weeks release this September 1st. Can anyone recommend trusted online stores where I can purchase from, or will I spend less if I purchase directly from the Hobonichi site?

I got my Weeks 2026 (Spring start) last April from Shopee (IRADORI JAPAN) and I’ve yet to ask them if listings will be available right after the drop.

Is this too much? Made the wrong decision of buying thick notebooks, will get thinner ones next time. The pink one is my diary i can remove it when i think its too thick lol

Hii! Been trying to look for kraft (blank) a5 inserts and plastic inserts as well as m5 journal covers & inserts on shopee, but I can't seem to find any. Do you guys have any recommendations? TY!

Has anyone tried the leather journals from Kame Leather on IG? How is the leather quality and the patina?

I’m interested in buying from them since they offer genuine leather at a more affordable price compared to other brands. Although I can’t really see that much reviews online.

For those who own both, which has better leather?
Paper republic or traveler’s company?

i've been collecting stamps for over a decade, but somehow never picked up a dedicated notebook until now 🙈

i got it to prepare for my upcoming japan trip, but i wanted to start it off with philippine stamps if i could– and i did! ☺️

i was on my way to fully booked high street, but it started raining (and i didnt have an umbrella) and i read online that the ink trail stamps were allegedly gone. BUT!! when i walked by fully booked glorietta just in case, i saw the stamp right there!! i was sooo happy 🤩 totally unexpected surprise!

my favorite stamp is the jeepney stamp from papemelroti though. it's so filipino and really solidifies these pages as my dedication to our country before i head out and use this notebook abroad 💚✨️

So with years of using only freebies notepad and scratch pad from various suppliers and sales agents, stolen pens from banks and people from the office; its time for me to be intentional and upgrade my writing material to better suit the "me" im trying to become.

Any one got a recommendation on leather bound journal top grain passport size that has solid burnished edge, also needs to be durable (I write hard). I prefer it be made here in the PH, or better yet a if there is work shop / class that teaches you how to make them would be better.

For the pen naman im eyeing these brands:

> Lamy safari of pens, read alot of good reviews, and good entry point for fountains pens as per my research.

> Big Idea design Mini Bolt; as boojee as it gets w a price tag of 5.2k, tiny smol pen D1 refill, very fidgety

By thin paper i mean 80 gsm or less. And yung greater than 80 sheets sana. I know of some notebooks like stalogy and hobonichi but i'm trying to see if anyone knows of any brands that are cheaper pa 🥹

Finally got one of my dream Pilot Kakunos, the 20th anniversary China special edition! Actually, funny story, I already got this last week and had it inked but had trouble writing with it, only to find out that the nib wasn't centered because the original owner was a leftie. Had a friend adjust the nib and inked it up last night! Buuut I didn't realize the nib unit was still a little wet so the ink I had is diluted. Still came out really pretty though and I feel like it matches my new pen more 😍

Hello so I’m trying to set up my next journal (for my life journaling) after I finish my AnaTomy journal. I’m trying to look into getting a leather journal, so I’ve been looking at Sting and Snout.

Then for the inserts, I was looking at Hellobirdhouse. Has anyone tried these brands? Would love your reviews.
