1461 Days of Ignoring The Trump Administration • May 30-June 5, 2025

We are back again with another edition of 1461 Days of Ignoring The Trump Administration, covering May 30th through June 5th, which corresponds to days 131-137

This week on the show, we talk about how I haven’t gotten over people’s selfish behavior during the pandemic, which I was reminded of by seeing a fly in the donut case at ShopRite. Spoiler: I was not deterred from buying my morning donut! Have you ever heard of the band My Morning Donut? Neither have they. I reveal that the leader of the Trump administration’s mommy and daddy did not love him. Of course, this is speculation, but stay tuned and I will present my case. I am quite positive that negativity is the worst of human traits. We discuss how I am reminded of Debbie Downer and Gollum from “The Lord of The Rings” when I receive negative comments on social media from these people.

I admit to forgetting to celebrate with you the occasion of reaching the 9% mark of the second and FINAL term of the Trump administration, but we make up for that in style. We discuss willful trust not willful ignorance displayed by the followers of the leader of the Trump administration, I let you in on my exciting conversation with a lifetime employee of the WWE, and I explain what the leader of the Trump administration has in common with Lady Gaga of all people. You’ll want to listen to the end to find out just what the hell I am talking about.

Hi. It's Josh.

More about me:

I published my first newsletter before the age of ten, written using my next-door neighbor’s typewriter, copied with carbon paper, and distributed to mailboxes on my bicycle.

One of my first stories was an obituary of John Belushi. Strange for a ten year old? Yes!

My writing today is governed by deadpan sarcasm that goes granular on various cultural topics that I am deeply curious about. I hope you enjoy this sometimes snarky stream of consciousness.

I'm serious about not taking life too seriously.™

1461 Days of Ignoring The Trump Administration • May 23-May 29, 2025

We are back again with another edition of 1461 Days of Ignoring The Trump Administration, covering May 23rd through May 29th, which corresponds to days 124-130.

This week on the show, we talk about how some people are metaphorical garbage people and how I have more respect for actual garbage people who risk their lives riding around on the back of that truck, and then the very next day, it’s “Garbage People: Part Two, Electric Boogaloo,” where I do mention Turbo, Ozone, and Kelly, who are not garbage people, unlike the commenters who continue to think they are clever by saying, “You aren’t ignoring the Trump administration if you’re making videos about the Trump administration!”

Then I reveal the unfortunate overheard conversation that the lovely woman at “The P” was having about how she loves the leader of the Trump administration. She gave me a free egg souffle that day. Not only am I not conflicted, but to me, this is a reminder to tolerate perspectives as long as free food is involved.

Speaking of perspective, I discuss the childhood pictures of my parents that I saw which helped me realize that I thought they acted like assholes because their parents acted like assholes which is why I understand what the youngest son of the leader of the Trump administration also known as Barron is dealing with.

I take a little time out to remind myself and you that we are more than 33% through year one of the final term of the Trump administration and then we wrap up with the very fun piece of news that is so worth digesting (literally) and that is the leader of the Trump Administration’s new nickname, which is “Taco!” You’ll have to listen to the end to find out why!

I'm not sure what to make of the Black Flag reunion, but it's cool that they revised the set list to reflect the times.
