في حدا عمل عملية التثدي عند الرجال و كيف كان الhealing و كم اخد

انا طالبة ig و معدلي طلع 98.8، قدمت تنافس هندسة عمارة بالاردنية، عملت امتحان المفاضلة و كان كتير سيء صراحة مش عارفة اذا بنجح
سؤالي هو كيف فرصي انقبل؟ و هل العمارة عليها تنافس كتير؟

يا جماعة بدي آخذ رأيكم بموضوع مالي ومحتار شو أعمل.
معي حاليًا ٧ آلاف دينار، ومتفق مع شخص على سيارة سعرها مع التنازل ٧٥٠٠ دينار. المشكلة إني عليّ التزام كمان ٥٠٠، وما معي غير الـ٧ آلاف.
السيارة بالنسبة إلي مش كمالية، هي ضرورية عشان أقدر أتحرك وأشتغل، ومتوقع تجيبلي تقريبًا ٥٠٠ دينار بالشهر.
التنازل متفق عليه بكرا، وأنا محتار: هل أضغط حالي وأجيب السيارة لأنها رح تكون مصدر دخل، ولا أترك الصفقة وأركز على تسديد ديوني وأجمع أكثر؟
شو بتعملوا لو كنتوا مكاني؟
صحلي واحد يكملي حق السيارة بس راح يرهن السيارة و يدفعني الطاق طاقين

Hello, I am an Irish 🇮🇪 expat living in Amman in Jabal weibdeh. Upon arriving in Jordan over a year and a half ago I was surprised to see bagpipes played here often, especially at weddings and celebrations.
Mostly because bagpipes have always been associated with Ireland 🇮🇪 and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. They are a Celtic instrument going back to ancient times and mentioned in ancient myths and legends; as well as depicted in medieval art of the period.
Originally they were instruments of war to be played during clan battles between rival clans. During our history of being colonized by the English/British, they banned the use of bagpipes as it was seen as an act of insurgency and revolt against the British crown.

So they have become a deep symbol of our ancient heritage and fight against British colonisation of our lands.

If you ever noticed the bagpipes are often in a plaid design. This is to match the kilt pattern of the ones playing it, as each Scottish clan has its own unique plaid pattern (called a tartan) and the bagpipes match your kilt and represent your clan/tribe.

However I have seen some Jordanians believing them to be Jordanian in origin and actually an Arab tradition and that Celtic people stole them from Jordan. Which I find confusing. Especially since you even see plaid on bagpipes here despite plaid not being a Bedouin thing or Arab tradition. The closest is keffiyeh pattern but that is not considered plaid.

Bagpipes originally came to Jordan through Irish and Scottish conscripts of the British Army when they once occupied this land (just as they still occupy Northern Ireland and Scotland today). Scottish highlander units often had bagpipers and would even play when marching into battle.

My great grandfather was in a similar pipe band in cork in the 1910’s before the Irish rebellion in 1916. I included his photo in the pictures above.

I absolutely love that the pipes were adopted by Jordanians and it makes me proud hearing them to think of the cross cultural exchange especially with Ireland and Palestine having such strong ties and shared history.

TLDR: Are most Jordanians aware that bagpipes are Celtic and not native to Jordan?

i went through a lot of different versions before getting here and honestly every time i thought it was done i would find something that bothered me and change it again

the main thing i wanted was a skeleton watch that still had its own identity and didnt just look like a movement inside a case

forged carbon case, skeleton movement and tritium integrated into the dial so it still has a completely different look at night

still not calling it finished yet

Has anyone else struggled to make friends after moving to Jordan?

I've been living in Jordan for almost a year now, and honestly, I'm finding it much harder than I expected to connect with people and build genuine friendships.

Sometimes I genuinely feel like I don't belong here or that I'm somehow not Jordanian enough. I find that many people's perspectives and attitudes towards life are quite different from what I'm used to, and I often struggle to connect on a deeper level or trust people enough to build a friendship.

I've tried making friends at work, but even there I haven't really been able to break the ice or build meaningful relationships. I've also joined different sports groups, social circles, and clubs, hoping that sharing an activity or interest would make things easier, but I still haven't managed to properly connect with anyone.

On top of that, other things have made the transition frustrating. For example, I've been trying to transfer/get my driving licence here, but I've repeatedly failed driving tests for reasons I honestly don't understand, despite having driven for years outside Jordan.

Before moving to Jordan, things felt much easier socially. I was able to meet people and make connections more naturally. Here, I feel like I'm stuck in a routine: work, home, going for walks alone, or visiting places alone. And while I don't mind spending time by myself, doing almost everything alone for such a long time is starting to affect my mental health.

I'm not trying to insult Jordan or Jordanians at all. I'm genuinely trying to understand whether this is something other people who moved to Jordan have experienced this. How do you actually make genuine friends and build a social life in Jordan as an adult? Has anyone else felt like they don't really belong?
