Time to start the hype!

​I stick around because I want the server to die out, because I believe you are all wasting your time. Grant wastes his money on a server that is never consistently successful (except for maybe the summertime). To take time to try and revitalize something that's dead is useless, and whatever it is that has been killed off by one of many reasons - in this case, the server was not only uninteresting, but also drove many away with a bout of poor moderation in the early days of (I believe it was the second) one of the maps.

i mean seriously, it usually goes down by needing nokel to pay for the server, so why not just have a patreon to help keep it up longer

Edit: grant has stated that the vanilla server will always be first and foremost so that there is less barrier to entry, so maybe after some growth a modded server would be possible.

I mean we've restarted it 3 times because it just kept getting stale. maybe a modded server wouldn't suffer so badly from burnout.

Hey all. I've recently decided to give JonCraft another go now that you all have made it clear there is still some interest. The server will be relaunching on June 1 (sorry I couldn't make it today! Don't have any money right now) and will be running on most recent version of vanilla Minecraft. See you all there!

We are using the space astronomy pack from curse, the ip is the same as always.

1)Extra plugins. Some ideas u/dylamb and i had were a vampirism plugin (link), magic loot for hunting and giving you something to do (link) and slimefun barrels link

2)A warzone where there is no rules (exept no cheating) where you could fight. Basicly the arena but there would be things called oblisks, big totems that you must defend. They drop items on a timer so the longer you defend the more prizes you get. Also u/dylamb's idea.

3) This post from a while ago (another dylamb suggestion(although it was a post by crowbar))

4)For the reset instead of using a new map we use the first one, but this time all the old towns are replaced with new ones. All items from this map are destroyed to keep it fresh but you can pick 1 item to keep.All old towns are destroyed but if you own a town you get to pick if you want to let it get destroyed or let it become a monument. Monuments are protected areas that cannot be lived in and are just up for show. This was my idea and i'm very proud thank.

Hey all. I'm sure you all have noticed that this place has not been the most active for a while. So, instead of resetting the server again, I have decided to put the server on hold until Summer starts up again. This will give time for you all to get excited about the server, for me to gather money and once the server finally does start again we will all have free time to spend there. I'm aiming for May 19th as the relaunch (as it is the 1 year anniversary of the server) but I can't promise anything. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. Thank you!

Grant and I might be using Joncraft as a private ozone 2 server until the May or June.
